This pretty country town is famous for the Three Moons Silos which are decorated with a life size mural depicting the legend of the Three Moons which were painted by artists Drapl and The Zookeeper.
More of their artworks can be found on the Water Tower and the Lister Street Artworks. Monto is home to the Monto Historical Complex and colourful Monto cows.
Cania Gorge National Park is a halfhour drive from Monto and is popular for camping and trekking. Cania Dam and Lake Cania are also within the park.
