I’ve always viewed them as piano chords. If you ever play Billy Joel tunes or any other tunes composed on piano you’ll get tons of slash chords everywhere. It just happens because of the strong left hand movement. Trying playing Piano Man on guitar … it’s beautiful… Or Bowies Life on mars
@@RotemSivanGuitar yesss definitely! Studying your lessons on Shell Chords, Extensions and now Slash Chords feels like the door to a new dimension is opening on the neck of my guitar! 🎸🎶🎵 🔆
Could you explain why I, V of IV, IV, and IV minor works? why is there F minor at the end? I can see that Ab is only a half step from G (Vth degree) so it's a sharp V that moves to G in the bass (2nd inversion of C)
Thank you very much. Beautiful lesson. On a tech note, you have too much ambient noise on your voice mic. You sound perfect when you approach to the camera, but not good at normal distance. Get a lav. Thanks again, I love those spread voicings!❤
Not grabbing everything. But Thanks. The aspect of the inversions bring me some confusion. What about a C/B where the B is not in C? In this case, theres no inversion.
Literally spent years confused about slash chords like aren’t they just inversions and I got a bunch of “yes, but no” answers without any reasonable explanation.
I thought he mean slash like the person The bad thing is I play guitar I just never learn the names of the chords (I know I should and bought a book mainly to learn new chords rather than names) And I dislike the guitar player slash anyway idk why I’d even wanna play the chords.
