I'm so glad we have a biome variant of the allo that doesn't have lava. Like I think the lava one is cool, but it's not as fun to mutate cause the lava isn't a color region. Really looking forward to mutating these guys!
To me, the Aberrant versions still are the best ones, especially the Spino. I remember playing it the first time through the dark without gamma enhancements and the glow in the dark Dinos would either scare you to death or enchant you. Still. These are just beautiful. My fave is the R-Dilos.

With the gasbags. If you look at the OG gasbag face, you can see someone fucked up on the texture on the UV since there's a line that runs down the entire center of every single one. It's more noticeable when it has a bright-colored base. Really glad they ended up fixing that in gen 2
I think the should’ve added like a glow to their stripes it would’ve made Rockwell’s biome look so much cooler and would’ve blended in with the glow trees at night . it would’ve made their design on par with the x variants
Quetzals actually do have a really good use. If you put a platform on it you can use it as Dino recovery for new players that happened to jump off their Birds and aren't able to get them down. Also helps to prevent The Disappearing glitch when dinos are stranded in the air and you whistle for them and they disappear
They should've added seasons to the biomes too, during the different seasons, different dinos would appear out of hibernation, and the Rockwell Garden could change seasons like Aberration has different levels, somehow, just a thought I had
that second wolf looks almost exactly like mine! the white red n black one, just the white is more of a yellow ish? like a tan yellow and the inside of the spots are like a pumpkin orange
The R Equus resembles an extinct zebra, the quagga. The R Direwolf definitely resembles the African Wild Dog aka African Painted dog. The R Snow Owl, to me, looks more like barn owl. Thylas remind me a lot more of a leopard, seeing as how some leopard hunt from the trees and thyla pounce from them along side the new pattern. As for my favorite variant….it’s hard to pick. I love the new direwolf and thyla.
Of course the r allos looks amazing. I'm just pissed that I've spent so many hours on attempting to get mutations on my normal ones knowing how awesome these ones are
Other than r-dinos I love the shadowmane And for space ones i love both voidwyrm and the dolphin And favorite r dino obviously the giga and thyla some sick pattren indeed and so is the reaper
Looks like a lot of the garden creatures are really based off tropical fish, especially Discus since the dilos and brontos look like they have Discus patterns pasted onto them lol
Oof, normally I don't even think about the 5% damage buff on the creature variants, but on a giga I think that's going to be much more noticeable, that is scary
I wish the thyla had more of a opossum pattern it would be more accurate but the closest thing i can think of to the thyla would be the tasmainian tiger
If you get an Exo Mek And take it to space you can pretty much just walk around in space ever so slowly and if you go to the Eden biome and go where the giant waterfall in the center of the tech trench there’s a underwater tunnel on the other side and it leads to a giant underground ocean

The first R Direwolf is STUNNING. Reminds me of a Painted Wolf (aka African Wild Dog, Painted Dog, etc) which is one of my all time favorite species.
I like that the brontosaurus has an R variant. The first one looked muddy.
