  • When nearly 7,000 grounded air passengers found themselves in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, the town welcomed them with open arms and hearts. One of those so-called 'plane people,' Shirley Brooks-Jones, has paid it forward with the Flight 15 Scholarship.
The 85-year-old refuses to let the pandemic stop her from returning to the town she’s so grateful for. Ross Lord has the story.

@@raytard8995 lol. You can keep your eyes covered, your ears plugged, deny reality, and refuse to fact-check (meaning always going to the sources, not relying on social media memes), but it won’t change the peer-reviewed, proven scientific facts of the pandemic.

An unforgiving heart is a terrible burden.
You can forgive “someone” and still not be ok with their deeds.
I’ve forgiven a horrible woman; told her “I forgive you because God says that’s right. But we’re not going to cuddle, in fact I want nothing to do with you. Stay away from me.”
That said, I don’t think that you’re focusing on the point of the story…
