Thanks for sharing! I’m having an issue though, after I turn the switch 8 times and the locks lock and unlock, I pressed the button on the new remote it honks horn and doesn’t program, I googled it, looks like I need to erase some keys saved to save a new one, any thoughts ?
on these fords u can have up to 8 keys programmed and it does not affect the fob function, also when you do the programming it erases all fobs previously programmed once u have already programmed the fobs you have in that moment to program (it writes in top of the old fobs).
what happens if i only have 1 key? i had 2 original keys. both got lost. so i had 1 made from the cylinder code. i erased the 2 original keys. and now it wont complete the programming because it says i need 2 keys minimum and only 1 is now programmed to it (the 1 that i got made from the cylinder code)
@@JVFIXLLC im thinking it might be the battery. Because when I swapped them out from the old to the new The old had a piece of cardboard behind the battery.

u will need another one. ford always requires 2 if u erased all keys stored.
How does this affect the MYKEY? I don't have a master key, just the slave key..do I delete all keys and program 2 new keys?
@@paintbysimoncom replacing the gauge will fix “my key” but you need to program the Correct miles
Okay so. I did the key turning thing and it did the lock cyle. Car turns over. But the buttons aren’t working still.
ur control might not be compatible or battery bad inside the fob
