Let it Snow! - Children Choir “Zorynka”(Ternopil, Ukraine)
The “Zorynka” choir was founded in 1980. In 1988 the Colegium by Ministry of Education issued a decree, which awarded the choir with the name of an “Examplary art group”, and in the year of 2001- the “National Choir Capela”.
The founder of the choir Izydor Doskotch got his degree in opera-symphonic section of National Lviv M. Lysenko Conservatory (taught by the famous professor M. Kolessa), and currently is an Honored Education Worker of Ukraine, constant director of the choir.
Since 1993 Angela Doskoch has been the director of the choir and the main conductor, since 2017 - director of the Children’s choir school “ZORYNKA” named by Izydor Doskoch.
The Children’s choir “Zorynka” is a multiple winner of international choral competitions.
The repertoire of the choir including sacred and contemporary music, classical music, choir pieces of modern composers, cover-versions of Ukrainian folk songs, songs of different naitons. Most of the pieces are sung a capella.
