It’s a lot of people to play in front of so I think she was nervous. And as I performer I get nervous too so I understand. I would’ve peed myself honestly 😭
I think her voice wasn’t holding the way it normally does which was frustrating her. It’s hard when you first start out as a vocalist because you sing instinctively, but over time I almost think you have to learn technique to preserve it. Julien has such a beautiful voice, but she pushes it a lot because she’s a tremendous performer and wants to give her all every time.

She looked on the verge of tears throughout that entire performance.
Sad that she changed the lyrics from "I'd never do it," to "Maybe I'd do it." It really hit me hard.
it's when I'm scared the most that I come back to this performance and feel okay again.
It's so raw. It's so beautiful. It's so sad.
