    It is good to know the causes but there is only so much we can do to stop it. I found 1. turmeric supplements (cheap at the dollar store), 2. omega 3 oil supplements like flax-seed or fish oil, and 3.) ginger (if you can afford it) are the best counters to inflammation. I found green smoothies, i.e. spinach in a blender, and green wheat grass (same stuff cats eat) helps a lot with inflammation as well since the green veggies reduce acidity in the blood and thus inflammation. These suggestions may or may not work with you so see a doctor.
