me too but my electric smoker is a different kind but still work the same for apartment living. mines cook good too but i saw how he keep his meats moist and electric smokers u have to keep yo meats moist..or else your meats will be dry and tuff Thanks for sharing.
Looks good, especially for an early attempt. Take the fat you remove and render it to get the beef renderings. Salt them and pour them over the brisket when you wrap it. Adds beef flavor and it's free.
Dude!!!!!!!! I have this exact smoker, copied your recipe EXACTLY and Wow man! My family and I were so impressed! Purchased my dad some meat from omaha steaks online and got a brisket to do this, all for fathers, Thank you so much!
1rst brisket I have ever cooked. I used different spices, I used apple cider vinegar and apple juice for my spray. The spraying makes all the difference. Mine turned out just like yours after 7 hours of strait smoke and 3 hours wrapped in peach paper. Just amazing!!!
My bark was legit, next time I'll use the same seasonings you did because those are all my favorites but I'm not at home. When mine was done it jiggled like jello and I didnt use pressure and a knife slid through like butter! I let it go a little long though, it was at 212 when I pulled it. Still turned out.
Beautiful brisket! These masterbuilts give a superior smoke flavor that you can't get with pellets results are better than traeger by far. The secret to the smoke ring is this: you can't naturally get a smoke ring in the electric smoker you gotta get this stuff called Mortons Tender Quick. It's a meat curing salt and put that on first before your rubs.
After searching and searching I finally came across your video and loved it man! Going to try your recipe this weekend and I will let you know how it went. Also, thanks so much for the voice over. Helped understand everything you were saying. Too many people trying to do these videos with only the mic on their camera and cant hear or really understand what is being said.
Good job man. You don’t have to spray it every hour tho it works but you do have to worry about temperature change because you keep opening the smoker and spraying and electric one take a minute to get back up to temp. Personally I don’t even spray mine at all or wrap them and they turn out perfect… but I also smoke 350 lbs of meat of every other day because I run a bbq restaurant in Mississippi so I’ve learned a million different things in the past 3 years
Followed your video for the ribs and they were incredible. Came back for the brisket and it didn’t disappoint. Only thing I did differently was use a hot sauce binder, and I only had apple cider vinegar so sprayed it with that. Overall not too vinegary
Man…. This is the video to watch. I couldn’t believe it’s like 12 min long. It went fast because you’re a great at making things fun and interesting. Great job. Now for the cooking. This recipe was easy and you did a great job explaining it. Definitely makes me feel like I can do it too. In fact im gonna use this video to cook me a brisket this weekend for the church early thanksgiving dinner. Thanks bro. Im gonna buy me a new smoker like this one too. I would recommend using a smoke tube for a better smoke ring. Ima try it out. Thanks again.
You are awesome. This is honestly the best brisket UA-cam and you are entertaining AF. 👏👏👏 Oh. My dad was a regional director for the USDA, you nailed it (btw, I am NOT telling my dad I bought an electric smoker. 😇)
this looks amazing! thank you for posting I have an electric smoker and it makes great pork shoulder but im making a brisket for easter this year and this video helped out! great job!
You did a great job Young King! I plan on smoking my 1st brisket in my masterbuilt electric smoker for Easter this year, I hope mine comes out as good as yours 🤞🏾🙏🏾
I’m bout to get tht vertical that go up to 450! My Masterbuilt has taught me so much!!! I’m still learning how to get bark wit it but I kno how it I can raise my temp with a better 1 an get the bark I want.!
Bro… Out of all the videos I’ve seen using the electric smoker, I was most impressed by how your brisket turned out. You absolutely nailed it. Nice job.

I just got an electric smoker today! I have never cooked a brisket so I am super excited 😆. Thanks for the video and if anyone has any advice please reply, because I'm a rookie smoker!
I just got my smoker today. I have heard different comments, take it out at 165* don’t take it out until at least 200* I am hoping for the best as this is my first try but it would be nice to have it come out at least looking a bit like a brisket!
@@lisalisalisa7721 So I ruined my first brisket because i was not aware of "the stall", which is when the meat hits about 155 and stays there and will not move for potentially a couple of hours, so I reacted by turning the heat up, which turned the brisket into high priced jerky! There is a technique calle the "Texas Cheat" which will help you through that. The temperature that has been suggested to me has been 205 degrees. Good Luck and I'm sure it's going to be delicious!!
Thank you Gary. I did hit that stall at 155* and wrapped it in butcher paper. It was a bit dry at the ends, I think I should have taken it out 1-2 hours sooner . The flavor was amazing but I did not get that blackish brisket look either. Sadly it was done Saturday AM and by Tuesday night it was already starting to go bad which really pissed me off. Do you know why it would spoil in just three days? The damn 8-lb brisket was $50
@@lisalisalisa7721 I'm not sure as to why it would spoil in a couple of days and i'm sorry that you did not get the results that you were looking for, however, a freind of mine who has been smoking for years gave me some inspiring advice. @@ThatSavageKitchen thank you man. I’ve been struggling with my electric smoker. I think you helped me up my game. Wrapping my meats in butcher paper should do the trick. 😎👍
ive gotten good bark and smoke ring from electric smoker..the key is to get the wood chips to combust and have a flame and not smolder like most people think..i smoke everything at 275 and leave the chip loader out so air can get to wood chips

I watched this again and it looks amazing! UA-cam wont let me give you more thumbs up. but I would.
Bro you perfectly executed that brisket
Try leaving the wood chip tube partially out to allow more airflow, might burn through wood faster but should make smoke rings and better bark
you should show ---> how you make your sandwiches, your sauce (how to make it, or link to another video), and YOUR FACE WHEN YOU TASTE IT!
