+Ludwig Van DANKthoven Thank you.
Ludwig Van DANKthoven you're a babe
But you can't have me. I'm not yours.
Bro this shyt got me going stupid in the gym...
THE INK We used to tear up the stockroom at work banging to this shit hahaha
Coachella kids would be scared to see this version of Turnstile live.
Man I miss this era of Turnstile
Check out Mexicos hardcore scene. They're keeping it alive out there still
One of the best hardcore EPs ever recorded. Turnstile is KING 👑
not even close..., still a nice EP
More like metal, the music is too slow to be HC. HC to me is like Minor Threat, Ignite, Ten Yard Fight, and so on.
no title fight is
the ridiculous comments here are funny but pretty much the antithesis of what hardcore means to me. no judgement no bullshit, have fun with your friends and get the fuck down how you want to. leave the drama fo yo mama
This
cuanto sabe!
@@sobresuelosureno8683 debe de ser todo un 100tífico XD
biohazard? helmet? rage against the machine?....definitely bringing back some 80s-early 90s memories
+ Shelter, 311, Dog Eat Dog
ua-cam.com/video/R79fwLiGTHo/v-deo.html
Reminds me of Snapcase
You dummy...this is TURNSTILE
Inside Out, Token Entry, Leeway, Maelstrom, etc...
Their best album imo
Ya all downhill from here imo :(
@@christmasbenoit9336 nah
@@christmasbenoit9336 agreed, Step 2 is their last good release tho
This is a very different hardcore album and I like it a lot!!
They'll never make anything this heavy again but I'd love to see 'em try. They're great regardless of era.
This is beautiful.
Love these vocals.
& and on the day i die
i hope i can justify
*THE CHOICES IN MY LIFE*
One of the hardest breakdowns of all time
90s hxc ❤❤❤❤ this bring me back to my teenage,,you are Turnstile
God this is so good
This band kills it live!!!!
Sounds like a Hardcore version of the Beastie Boys in parts. Pretty kewl...
was thinking the same :)
seems like you don't know that the beastie boys started out as a bad brains rip off hardcore band.
don't worry jerry, regardless of what this ^ condescending prick thinks, you shouldn't have to know that Beastie Boys were heavily influenced by Bad Brains or general NYHC. I'm glad you dig it.
Kenny Dashark imagine beastie boys having a show with like madball or backtrack playing some old jams (shouts out to long island if anyone out there is reading this)
Influenced yes, but rip off bad brains??? Ummmm no. If you think that then your ears are full of poo.
Sick af. so fucking heavy, love you guys!
damn, i love em
The opening riff for Things You Do is 100% lifted from Madball - Can't Stop, Won't Stop.
Can't wait for them at This Is Hardcore 14'.
This is hard core
i hear a lot of spudmonsters, snapcase and madball. love it
Definitely lots of Snapcase, Quicksand and Better Than A Thousand.
Love this band!
TRAVIS BICKLE is HARDCORE.. he is my GURU, woulda ended my existence yrs ago if he didnt let me ride shotgun on some of his fares & when he speaks, i feel im in the presence of a thousand ENLIGHTED BHUDDAs
HORROR_PUNK_GAMER Thx bro
I didn't know I liked turnstile
+Travis Bickle MY NIGGUH!
i like this way more than the new album
+brenden myhill
You even checked out Nonstop Feeling?? It's like this + step 2 rhythm ON CRACK! Production value way better too!
brenden myhill I don’t like the guitar tone on time and space
Same, i feel like they lost their hc attitude in time & space :(
I listen to more death metal than anything but I love this band
My thoughts exactly
Yep me to
Same me
Let me recommend you "Trapped under ice", band from the same city...
@@fersoia ayyyy. Other dope bands are EXPIRE and incendiary!!
Hopefully I can get to go see these guys with basement
+Will Lozinak
I just hit up the Detroit MI show last friday, it was pretty hype!
'' New Rules '' beginning is so fugazi... :D :D
***** Yeah, just like 'Waiting Room'. :)
Monoslay Cassavetes too
+Andreas G. that fugazi feels.
totally yes
If Freaky Franz's musical hero is Joe Lally, well...I'm more than ok with that.
Fresh Hardcore!
One thing I Pick up on since everyone is comparing the sound to other bands is not only those mentioned but the music and vocals sound like AVAIL and MADBALL
Is it just me..but does Turnstile feel like a heavy version of dog eat dog? Really cool!
and leeway and many other 90's hardcore bands
@@prixmadiseno3185 Saw Leeway back in 90's!
This band fucking rules.
When turnstile were hard!
When they were good❤️
swinging myyy swinging myyy heavy haaaaaand
Check out Angel Du$t. If you like TUI and Turnstile. ;)
Fake
2:36 will always remind me of Youth of Today, lol.
Pozdrawiam
The mix and production on this albums reminds me of stripped down late 80's bad brains after h.r. Left, like Quickness album. Pretty gnarly. This is the kind of tunes that go through my head when I think of California hardcore. Very west coast. Keep it tight, cha.
Brad Zack But these dudes are from the east coast, as are the Bad Brains.... did you mean east coast when you said west coast?
Brad Zack fuck west caost hardcore
HR was still singing on the Quickness album.
@@TheWaxdart138 Macky from cromags on drums
New rules got me hardcore. Straight like that
That made me grit my fuc*in TEETH... I havent heard something that good in years and years, Kind of mellowed out but DAAaaaammn was that simply SWEEEEEET a.F
Told my bottom bitch the other day “I aint yo average, I ain’t yo ordinary”
U can't have me I'm not yours...
..noooo mooorrrrrrreeeeeeeee
it does sound like like a hardcore version of the bestie boys, but so does incendiary
so good. how to describe? sort of a mix of good clean fun, suicidal tendencies and down to nothing but heavier.
That fucking breakdown followed by a solo!!!
where

STOUT are BALTIMORE KINGS of HC.. but i dig TUI & AD too so i thought id check these guys out.. i like what i hear!!
Little man, slum lords are baltimore kings certified. Stout is okay, but even they will tell you. I grown up in Baltimore too i would know.
All fire 🔥
anyone else having trouble streaming this on spotify? its not even appearing anymore
They took it down for some reason
Anyone else seeing Turnstile with the story so far?
The Lord Is My Shepherd lol they're touring together right now
reminds me of downset. this fookin rocks
This got me twostepped in my room
fuck. yeah.
Killer
im not ur average I'm not ur ordinary
Anyone know where to get a physical copy of this? If they were even made? I've searched the Internet with no success.
Joe Giel yo! This was a 7" that Reaper Records released. 1st pressing was on transparent blue wax and was only of 500 I think, maybe 1,000. Reaper later re-released on bone white wax(500 made) and traditional black vinyl(2000 pressed). I'd keep an eye out on eBay for one to pop up. I've got the blue but I might be willing to part with my black copy, if you really want it
@@nickcox1762 dunno if you are still around? I'd love to have this EP on vinyl
Fuck yeah. Sounds like if death metal mashed with hardcore punk in a different universe
Check out All Out War if you haven't already (Burning Season, Resist), they're exactly that but from the 90's.
Grooves and breakdowns are similar to Slam Death Metal and early Beatdown Hardcore. Which isn't Hardcore influenced?
I’m tellin’ y’all it’s sabbataaaggee
Tampoco ve TURNSTILE
J.V Leeway me likey
it sounds like... turnstile =D
aguante todo hc from argentina
So watcha watcha want?
7:11 your welcome
Why isn't this on Amazon Music?
10:43 "You will never understand the poop in my eyes!"
Narshredder Jarrod Alonge
Alskar Rose haha misheard lyrics for sure
Narshredder that's actually how i got introduced to this band, and "real" hardcore in general. i was watching that misheard lyrics video with all the metalcore bands like "ya this is pretty funny" then turnstile came up and i got hooked immediately
Franz Roth Well now you understand the poo in Turnstile's eyes! :D
Check out FPG
anyone know what they tune the guitars to? DGCFAD?
Banda do caralho.
Not too bad. Sounds quite a bit like Headfirst. What are the lyrics about ? - Yann from France
Heart break mostly
shiet. siek!
Pbbbttt!
KEEP IT TO YOURSELF MAN I DONT WANNA HEAR IT
Hurt. Pain. Both. CALLING YOUR NAAAAAAAAME!
why everyone here is flexing their balls? "this sound like *insert band name*".
comparing bands is fucking lame. no one is impressed by the amount of bands you know.
Why be so negative? These comments allowed me to find plenty of new music that sounds similar to one of my favourite bands. Knowledge comes from all places
@@stuartdance5587 good for you then but imagine you come up with a song, you want to share it with others, and everyone is like "you sound like *this*";
"you sound like *that*". you want opinions and criticism, not comparisment. it really is frustrating, yet people still think they compliment you by saying that. you want to do your own thing, not to be a copy and thats exactly what hides behind these words. its nice you found some new music tho, at least something good came out of it
Back when they were good
asdf
This is it cheif
Very Flamal
pantera meets korn meets rage against the machines
hahahahahhahah
Kkkkkkkkkk
09-14 were the best years for hardcore. now I listen to shit like lil xan..
sounds like a personal problem...
Sounds you just gave up on HXC there's some fucking amazing bands rn
I gave up for a couple years too but a ton of sick bands came out the past few yrs. Check out mindforce if u dig this EP
What a shame now they sing about holidays and have a chick playing guitar 🤣🤣🤣🤣 miss the old days of swinging my swinging my heavy hand, this is a great ep
whats the problem with 'have a chick playing guitar' 😐
nobody likes you dan
Don’t ever listen to Code Orange
Fuck yeah LBGTQ rights love that gay love love blm to.
