  • Sometimes things are just not meant to be with certain houseplants. Or maybe, one minute it's doing great and the next it's gone :'(. At what point do you guys give up on a houseplant?

Guys, if you have no clue what's wrong with your plant, consider watching this video. If these are things that do not occur to you, then throw the whole plant away, because you are not a good plant parent (jk ...sort of)

I made a dieffenbachia video about 7 months ago and you guys were soooooo mad that I didn't show how I actually harvested the babies. I went and put all this effort into making a revised, and improved, version and you didn't even bother to watch it (hmph!!!). If you want to give me a pat on the back, peep my improved video!

I believe most of the soil in the pots that are not doing well just need a more airy soil mixture 🤷‍♀️. I love maidenhair ferns. So gorgeous. I have one and it’s really happy in my house thank goodness. It’s so pretty. Glad to see yours is coming back to life!

They are absolutely stunning!! I love seeing so many of them at pretty much every observatory I’ve been to. Sadly, mine didn’t survive after its revival lol 😭. It’s just not meant for me I suppose 🤓

Love your common sense advice. I am struggling with a couple right now. Dieffenbachia are the worst for me- can't keep one happy to save my life.

Thanks Annmarie! I used to have really good luck with dieffenbachias. I don’t know if someone out a curse on my plants or what 🤣, but they’ve taken a turn for the worse. I’m hoping that whatever pest was eating at it will miraculously go away this summer 🤞🏽

Awwww!!! Don’t worry, you’re definitely not alone lol. With the rubber tree plant, I recommend watering way less. Im shocked at how long it can go without getting any water!
