I regret I started at an HBCU and transferred 😢. You're right though we are exceptional whenever we get in line. That's also why they don't show images like this of us on mainstream television. It would mesmerize the entire world. So glad Beyonce used her stage to show homage. It brought back a lot of memories and pride.
I wish that the world could understand and embrace how magical black women are... I feel so blessed to have been raised by 4 incredibly beautiful and strong black women as well as my dad who raised me who is also of color. What they endure from birth to death most would lay down and die if they went thru. Queen's is what black women are. A gift to this earth in so many ways. Trend setters in every way. The black man is also so underrated and undervalued. It's ok tho bc one thing about our ppl of color is they preserver. They have tried for thousands of years to break them only to see them come out stronger!!! There is nothing in this world that has not been touched or created by African Americans and then adapted/adopted by others. I know this is just a video of young black women dancing but the pride and royalty within them is just magnetic. If you have not been told please know you are appreciated and loved!!!

Hello Kayla. Although I never went to Southern University, I am a fan and I enjoyed playing y'all back in 2009. Everyone is always talking about the great Kayla Pittman on all of the SU videos. I didn't mean to say that there is anything wrong with big butts because there are millions of men that love them and I apologize for not making it clear. They don't fit in to this group because they are looking for the slim look. I once danced professionally and danced and I got a little raunchy dancing in the club's in to the Disco days and funk year's. If you can look at the difference in those days and today's crude styles. We had to practice all week to keep up with everyone else because the floor was full of great dancers. it doesn't take practice to bend down grab your knees and twerk and not move your feet that is disgusting and Polly I don't know your age but would you want your daughter to show case tweerking. I love these ladies because they work hard to move so gracefully and eloquent and young ladies should look up at them. God bless and I mean that.
