Awesome and thanks for the update! I don't think many people know how 3D printing has changed the world or the potential it has. From housing to medical and food. there are a lot of applications for 3D printing. Even Aerospace company's have found 3D printing as a faster and cheaper way of making parts.
The aspect of building body parts that is encouraging, is in overcoming the non-availability of donors. So many people are waiting for the right donor to come up, that 3D printing is going to let them get a new life so much quicker - or perhaps even STAYING alive... A valuable video, and I hope that you will continue to update it as time allows.
The first time a 3D printed heart transplant built from the patient's cells or otherwise gets zapped to life is going to be one heck of a day for the medical field. Though I'm sure simpler organs like that thyroid, maybe a liver, or even a pancreas will be pretty awesome.
Best video I've seen so far, demonstrates the economic opportunities for 3D printing in Medical areas, and the application of current tech to create anatomy models and real stuff.
Great video I was wondering if you had a realistic estimate for real application of 3d bio organic printing I have bad kidneys and in the future I will need a double transplant
+Zach Davis I'm sorry to hear about your condition. Kidneys are widely predicted to be one of the first organs that will be successfully bioprinted, maybe by the late 2020s. There is still much work to be done to bioprint large tissues for viable transplantation -- one problem being keeping the organ alive during printout -- but there are teams working to solve the challenges around the world.

Computer chips are fairly expensive and rather flat, how long before they're nanoprinted in 3D?

Just a suggestion: Maybe the printer doesn't have to go to a home position? Bidirectional print has been around a while, in standard printers.
They have started developing the ability to grow teach in the person mouth.
It would be interesting to find out what types of stuctures could never be made by 3D printers
