- Simone Biles talks with the media after winning her historic 6th all-around world championship in Antwerp, Belgium; a decade after her first world all-around in the same arena. Simone shares her perspective on the achievement, what happened with the stumble on the floor and why her eyes filled with tears at the end of the meet. what was that like?
These women are adults and partners in their gymnastics. The girls from the 90’s were children, controlled by fear and their coaches, and sheltered from most things. No disrespect for those girls at all, but this is a different era and I really love the maturity these women bring, and the direction USA gymnasts are headed

It always trips me out hearing her talk about being clumsy she always says that, yet somehow she's also the world's greatest gymnast, possibly the greatest of all time. That's just a testimony to her work ethic and greeting

I can testify that gymnasts are THE clumsiest people in the world outside the gym lolol we always get hurt in the WORST ways doing literally nothing. Usually walking😂
The duality is hilarious to me but also I feel like it's really common. My niece competes in huge dance competitions and was in gymnastics for most of her life and she's flawless while competing but she will drop, spill, trip over, run into just about everything she possible could outside of that xD

Biles is the GOAT, if not, who? As the most decorated gymnast with 5 routines to her name already, by the time she's done with the '24 Olympics, who's going to come close? Already, the usual syndrome of diminishing black GOATs is out on Biles but I love the way she's not making it easy for them. The Olympics will surely shut every one of them up.
I would appreciate it if reporters would just focus on their accomplishments and congratulate them instead of constantly poking at old wounds and triggers. Good thing Cecile made that clear in the background and it was over.

Simone has become such a classy young woman, extremely thoughtful with her answers, polite and considerate with everyone. Not only the best gymnast of all time, but also an example to all young girls to aspire to, thats priceless.

How many all black podiums have there been in Antwerp? I've heard very little mention of that, especially after the Denmark incident when a single black gymnast was made to feel less. I sense jealousy, hate and racism. Yet, you go to black nations and are treated with respect and human dignity. Why?
