I agree with Lily, any change to my immediate surroundings is scary and I will spook to LOL. And the video wasn’t jumbled at all, you made total sense. Also don’t beat yourself up about falling and not knowing how, it happened to the best of us and like you said you were still a fairly new writer at the time. I remember once I fell getting off my horse. Don’t ask me why, my horse was standing still and my instructor was holding rope and I dropped the rains took my feet out of the syrup swing down the way I always do and somehow or another I did not land on my feet but on my hands and knees. Luckily the only thing I broke with my finger.

I remember another time it was really windy and my horse pooped and I felt. It was funny because my instructor had just finished telling me the importance of making sure that my heels were lined up with my knees and my knees we are lined up with my hips so that if I felt I would land on my feet. Doy feet. Needless to say I guess I wasn’t lined up as well as I thought it was because I didn’t land on my feet LOL. Luckily I didn’t break anything.

I love your stories. I didn't think this video was jumbled at all; it was real, informal, and you. I'm glad you were all right after that fall; that could have happened--and probably does--to anyone, regardless of their experience level; so you weren't an idiot.
It would be really interesting to hear your experience in dressage; I think it's considered one of the highest forms of horse riding expressions, but that's all I know; before your video, I didn't even know it involved letters.

Yes, the letters are around the sides of the arena because in a dressage test there are particular movements or changes of gate you need to do at particular points, or letters. For example, you might be told to trot A to M and then walk M to H. I'm not very good at explaining it. But the arena is a rectangle with the long sides from F to M and H to K. The short sides are K to F and M to H. So if your test says: walk M to H then trot H to K it is saying that you need to walk along the short side then turn left and trot up the long side.

Mel’s Blind Life that was a pretty darn clear explanation to me. I think you're better at explaining things and you give yourself credit for.

Thank you. Sometimes, when I’m writing things, I’m not sure if they come out as well as they could.
