This event features some of the best endurance athletes of the world. It doesn't deserve any kind of prejudgment. Let's celebrate those athletes, not cast a shadow on them because of this case.
PTO prize money should be cut half and reallocated to do actual real drug testing on triathletes. Collin's failed test has unveiled the weaknesses in current drug testing protocols in triathlon. Now that the PTO has brought more prize money in the sport, we need better testing and accountability.
Post race drug test do literally nothing. You have to be mighty foolish and nearly impossible to test positive post race. It would be best to do it days before athletes travel.
I cringe so much watching your recent productions. In my opinion you guys build too much manufactured drama around tiny hurdles in lives of super fortunate and limitlessly supported athletes. What about athletes out there who pursue their dreams being unable to pay the rent or afford food, driven by pure love of the challenge pushing real limitations on top of these that you guys portray here. I hope that this sport is not gonna continue pivoting into ultra snob elitist direction. Don't over do it.
I hope they are all getting surprise drug tests and often. The sport needs the FANS to believe it's clean. Not just some organization testing claiming the athletes are clean. Until then it's just another * next to each event and winner.
A limit to watch PTO only through Eurosport is a shame. It's such a buggy and bad cloak with horrible experience streaming - you can't imagine. Would rather pay to you than them.
I just hope that doping agency shows up more often to this NEW pro field. All this time records produced latly by all these aging athletes are NOT convencing me at ALL!!!!
