- Goodbye Nicaragua hello Costa Rica! The motorcycle journey continues, and a new fresh chapter begins. Costa Rica or Rich coast has officially begun and I can only say I'm very optimistic and excited for whats to come!
In this episode I leave San Juan Del Sur and make my way to the Nicaragua Costa Rica border. Everything went relatively smoothly and I was welcomed into Costa Rica by a beautiful sunset and finding a spot to camp near the beach!

Thanks my friend yeah exciting to swing on into Costa Rica. Yeah you know it doesn't even bother me anymore haha.. I think once I get to 40mph I start feeling like id like them. Ot if there's lots of dust. Also the sunglasses is something I would like to get. Just haven't got to it yet haha

Great video. I can’t imagine the anxiety I would have trying to navigate a border crossing. The Mexican Immigration system was a challenge enough, so those types of documents and preparedness has always been a challenge. Smooth travels my friend, ready for the next upload. Saludos

@@LandonBishoff Just coming down for a "Quick" week. Bringing my older sister who has never been out of the Staes before. My wife starts a new job so she's not included on the trip, lol!
First time we went to CR was 2012, 9 days on a BIG, white, new BMW GS 1200 all over the country. Had an absolute blast so kept going back for years!

If you have tear offs you can use one to slide up into the fork seal and spin it around the tube and pull it back out, sometimes that gets the dirt that is stuck between the seal and tube, thank for the videos….Pura Vida
Any pre rounded plastic storage can be cut up to look like a seal doctor as well! Like a sour cream or yogurt cup. They are pre bent and slide under the oil seal really well.
Great advice! Yeah I used a piece of plastic and cleaned it up a bit and it was good for like a day, but I think it might just have been really brittle the seals or something and neglecting it for a few days in the mud just tipped it over and is now back at it. I haven't replaced them in like 2 years haha
Will defiantly keep this in mind for next time brother! Solid advice
@@LandonBishoff woooooof I’m sure the oil is pretty well broken down inside the forks and shock at this point. Glad to hear it’s still rideable at 2years and 20K+ miles!
Haha yeah not all the miles were on those seals. The bike is a 2021 so when I was in Idaho riding a lot harder and just bikes in the past it seems I end up replacing them once a year. But yeah no it’s forusre time to give them a refresh

I need a milage update on the bike!! Also how do you take care of all your regular maintenance? I think I’d be lost without my garage!
Haha lets just say its got a lot Justin! Its over 20K Im gonna keep it a surprise until I do the real in depth review on the bike when I get back to the states. The regular macitence I do every 700 to 800 miles. I have a tool set and can change oil and all that myself. Air filter I have small bottle of oil I keep the PCP racing air filter skins all oil up and use gas to clean the filter. Chain I usually do after I wash the bike and do a little engine oil on it. Clean it off and then spray some chain lube on it. The things I'd do for a garage haha!
