I adore everyone's parts, you all did such a hood job matching the lyrics, choosing powerful voiceovers, and capturing this song perfectly! I knew and loved many fandoms or knew of most of the others but even for the fandoms I was entirely unfamiliar with, your parts were so easy to appreciate!

This was so beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen Nick Amaro vidded with his kids and I have a soft spot for them so that was a lovely surrprise. I also teared up at the opening. I still miss Fred (Luke Perry)
I've been watching Law & Order: SVU for the first time and i love Nick Amaro SO much more than i saw coming ;)
And yeah i got emotional when i first saw unbreakablegirlxo wanted to vid a part with 2 dads that had died including that one where the actor really died and gave her part 1 (because she wanted me to choose the song part for her) because i thought it would be such a nice way to start off the collab ;)
I hope I got the Duke voiceover right in the middle of your part? I just finished transcribing all of the voiceovers finally :)
Could you explain the "Duke is over because of you" voiceover to me? I know it's been like a year but I'm still a little confused about what Duke was, assuming this voiceover was transcribed/heard correctly by me... 😅
@@VioletEmerald it was. Duke was Cordell Walker's undercover name. August, his son, caught him undercover, and Cordell made it his last time-very short version.
That's lovely! Nice to see many relationships vidded that I don't usually see, like the West Wing part.
Btw dixiekat2007 also vidded The West Wing and even some of the same scenes in a previous one of my Father's Day collabs! I forget which one right now though

This turned out wonderful as always! Everyone did a great job on their parts and diverse choices of good father/child dynamics. I genuinely enjoyed all of it no matter if I knew the fandom or not :)
Awww this really turned out great! Even though I don't know most of the fandoms I really enjoyed it because the editing was fantastic throughout and you could really feel all of these relationships. I also love the colouring :)
Thanks so much for commenting on the coloring too, I was kinda unsure about it by the end but worked pretty hard on it actually... 😅
And yes I agree! I thought it turned out great and I loved all the parts regardless of if I knew the fandom - including yours, I don't know the fandom but you made such a great part!

After recently watching on Netflix the amazing little family comedy-drama TV show about a cancer-survivor, "Life Sentence", a show that only lasted 13 episodes when it first aired on The CW before getting canceled and seeing the actor who plays Ryan in your part as Dr. Will Grant, now I am somewhat more tempted to check out that Nancy Drew at some point... he was so likable in Life Sentence, just FYI. ;)

i'm sooooo damn late, sorrrry, damn i really feel awful 🙈 but better late than never 😉 u know the father's day collabs have a special place in my heart, always happy to be a part of it. i'm sure, when u will host next again a collab, i really wanna take part. but we'll see then. okay now to the collab. wow such a great collab, everyone made really good part. love the collab. i maybe don't say it often, but u emily u are one of my fav person/vidder ever.

Actually, when I added Max & Luna from the show New Amsterdam to my part I did think of you - I thought even if no one else who watches this collab knows that fandom, hopefully Simone will appreciate and like that little father/daughter part in here. I might not have ever started watching New Amsterdam if it wasn't for you!
I didn't even know the show but I know the actor who plays Bosch from a few other recurring roles of his and I really loved your part regardless of knowing the fandom or not. I always appreciate you participating in my collabs as well!

yes titus welliver plays harry bosch, he was in so many shows. his acting performance is not just good it's perfect, the way he plays harry bosch is simply one of the best i've ever seen.

Um the way you phrased that is a bit weird. I do have a collab i hosted of only fathers and sons back in 2011 i think it was set to "Ever the Same" by Rob Thomas. Feel free to check that out.
