      @@cloudtheavegner1000 Kramnik is notorious for suspecting his opponents are cheating when he loses in his chess live-stream games, so he reports their account to the website for "cheating" and before he does this he says, "let's do the procedure".

      Magnus is known in the last years to play different and fun openings, sending a message to many boring matches. It's not rude, it's interesting to force players to get out of theory and think over the board, including himself

    I think Karpov's close friend and MVP second, Fuhrman, died in 1979. Fuhrman was Karpov's opening trainer, which helped Karpov because he HATED opening theory.

      Miles won with 1.a6 against Karpov. This defence has racked up a few notable victories, and in blitz chess, almost anything is playable: some of the wins by Magnus and Hikaru recently have been with quite ridiculous openings.

    @4:30 Instead of saying Magnus, he mistakenly says things go "really really wrong for Kramnik", and then has a pause the video moment to find the best move, but still doesn't clarify if its white or black's best move. I know in all these games sometimes pieces and sides get misspoken, but this was probably one of the worst I've seen so far as it completely confused the pause the video moment.

    Just today saw a video where the President of Russian Chess accused Ding of throwing the world championship . Supposedly he’s requested Fide to investigate this charge . I guess he’s basing the allegations on those last blunders Ding made in the game . I think only Ding can answer that question was it a possibility he did not want the pressure of being FWC anymore ? I don’t know but I felt Gukesh was the better player overall and deservedly won . Just thought I’d pass the info on to people .

    That was NOT the St. George Defence. Merely playing 1a6 does not make it the St. George, which involves a6 and e6 (in either order).
