Not always true. The first time I smoked I realized I had been lied to about the nature of God. He was not filled with anger but holiness. And that holiness feels like absolute bliss. I realized that I had a soul, and that soul was eternal. That experience changed my life and gave me purpose. So in the interest of helping black people everywhere stop blindly following the slave religion we inherited, I submit my experience. Sometimes good things DO happen when you are high.
Better than drinking or being addicted to painkillers like many football players are. Many good things happened to me when I was high, helped me elevate my game.

I hope the Jackson State defensive backs really understand the value of the wisdom Coach Prime is giving them. The best who ever did it is taking his time to teach you all the physical tricks, but most all he is teaching you the mental game of how to control and dominate your opponent. When you believe in your mind that you are in control just by the way you position yourself and that you can make your opponent do what you want them to do that is a whole other level of Sports IQ. Just like Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen did on defensive in basketball control and dominate.

This guy was so talented, he actually made the position of CB look easy, which of course, it's not. It's arguably the next hardest position on the field, behind QB...
QB is the most physically challenging position with offensive lineman. A slow non athletic player can play QB, not physically challenging. Also Deion didn’t have good technique

CB is EXTREMELY difficult schematically and physically when you have to take on guys twice your size coming at you full speed!

Always loved to jam receivers off the line and mess up their timing. Speed kills. You can own the receivers when you're not only fast but also physical.

Communication is listening! To listen you need to be like a "sponge!" Soaking up every adjective and noun. You need to read and observe "Coach Prime's" body positioning and movements. Simultaneously applying the movements to your own. Also most importantly understanding why you are making the movements. Achieving the results that you want!!!! HOF Prime! One of the best to do it. Maybe one day you can control half of the field! "PRIMETIME!"
Man this is pure gold. Those players have to be some of the luckiest people in the world. The best DB in NFL History giving you pure game day in and day out. No way they all aren't going to have NFL careers if they listen and do exactly he's teaching them.
If I'm a high school DB, there's no way I'm going anywhere else but Jack State. you cant find that wealth of knowledge anywhere else.

Met Mr. Time decades ago in Boca Raton, FL at the Foot Locker Slam Fest. This had to be 1989 I guess. All the kids were yelling Neon, but having just read the article about him in Sports Illustrated I'm calling for Mr. Time. He had one of his friends come over to get the card I had for him to sign. Even then you could tell he had class and command of his situation. JSU has such a great resource to help mold these young men.
Man if this happened when I was in school. I would have killed to play for Coach Prime!

Y’all youngens better be paying attention!!! The secret to the game of Football is simple: 90% Mental, 10% physical! If that WR lines up wide, he can only run deep route, hitch/comeback, or in routes(slant,post,in). The WR line up close to the line of scrimmage then it’s outs, corner routes, and deep routes. Now as a DB the hard part is out the way, simply make a play on the ball and take it to the house!!! I like what Primetime is doing!!! We got Deion coaching football and Penny coaching basketball, very nice!!!😁👍🏿
So is Deion saying always line up to the inside of a WR or the outside of a WR? He is yelling at them for doing both in this video..lol
@@jimbaker5110 Deion was telling the db to line up parallel or in front of the WR. It’s about field position and what down it is, where it all depends on the coaching strategy and skill set of the db that will decide how you want your db to line up against a WR.
For instance, say it’s 3rd and goal on the 5 yard line and the WR lines up wide, then I would have the db shade the inside of the WR taking away the slant route and using the sideline as help against the fade route/hitch route. Now I’ve put the pressure on the QB to make a great pass and the WR has to make a incredible catch. It’s all about strategy and putting your players in the best position to succeed.

I remember when they called him unorthodox, but his technic was perfect. From the way he stood was for a purpose not just for show. They could not teach him so he was labeled unorthodox. If these boys can master his technic Jackson state will have the best defensive backs in college football.
Never really paid much attention to JSU football but I really hope he can bring the fire and desire the team and college needs to get the city back in a positive light. Jackson is our capital and it should shine. Good Luck on the season guys!!!!
