- I love detecting amongst the trash! Give me a dump site, old houses site, building material #detecting #manticore #minelab #camille #history #treasure and general trash… I love metal detecting amongst it and finding the treasures as well as thinking about the lives and stories of the past.

Thanks Andrew. I reckon you’d love this place. They dumped their rubbish. Then pulled down dwellings and left some of that too. Some of it was burned. And lost some stuff we call treasure. Definitely a good fun time out. ☺️👍

The long car part looks like the inside door opener from a 1960's vintage. Had one very similar on my first car ... a 1962 mercury comet.

Nice silvers, We find a Corgi car over here, It's like finding silver.Probably more rare.

So many millions of old coins must be buried under modern houses. My parents subdivided a very old farm with new houses on top. Before my time metal detecting unfortunately.
I think the exact same. Because I bought an old house.. and did a renovation before I was into detecting many years ago.. and I buried the treasures forever

I’ll let you know the vdi if I find one 😂 I found the bottle dump. Broken glass everywhere and super tough digging. Rock hard.
