This fan film was awesome! It totally sent me down a rabbit hole of watching more, witch led me to the Mad Max fan film called Hope and Glory. It was surprisingly good. Felt like a really good pilot to what would be an awesome tv show. You should totally check it out...

This was sick, but 1 thing kinda confused me, unless there's a proff. X, there would be no need for Magneto to have a helmet, unless they're insinuating that the helmet is because of that era, so it's like a knights helmet maybe?

I thought that too. I think its put in there simply because its iconic
during the interaction between Magneto and Logan you can hear Whispers in the background(maybe from this worlds prof x) and I would assume that that is maybe why he puts on the helmet. I might be overthinking it tho 🤷♂️
@@brettcrampton4811 yeah its probably just cuz its his costume. Also it makes who he is all the more clear. They probably wanted a big reveal and the helmet clarified who he was

It's good but the inconsistencies with his healing kind of took me out of it a few times. They are extremely noticeable. Another issue is that they had no possible way to graft metal to his exoskeleton back them.

I’m kind of tired of the whole Norse mythology thing it’s well-made, but it doesn’t hit from me because this could literally be anybody. You just threw some metal claws on him and called him Logan.

The claws are bone. The director stated that he didn’t like the look of the original bone claws so he gave them the bladed look but they are indeed bone which is why he loses 3 of them part way through the fight.

Not a bad job. The costumes look great, along w/ the prosthetics. SFX good too. Well done!! (and yeah, the acting wasn't the best, but given the material & budget... I'm OK with that)
It would've been way sicker as a stand alone wolverine film without any other mutants taking place in a viking era because wolverine can be ancient depending how how his story is written

this was awesome. the two things that took me out were scars and metal claws. bone would have been so much cooler here. or something that looked like raven talons. fan fiction has been bringing it on lately and I love it.

His claws weren't metal. They broke, they were just really good looking bone claws..... really good looking bone claws. They can just heal back to normal when placed back in his forearm
I thought Magneto’s character design and look, albeit fun could have been more fitting to Cyclops, would definitely have passed as a Cyclops prior to donning the helmet, the helmet by the way was fantastic.
Instead of adimantium, the metal claws would probably be Uru from Asgard.
For a second I thought magneto would be Romulus

@@markaitcheson3212 I noticed that. I’m just suggesting that if they were metal, then that’s what it would be. And instead of weapon X, the Uru metal would probably be implanted by sorcery by either the sorcerer supreme of that time or maybe Loki or Enchantress. But those bone claws looked sick nonetheless.
