This performance of Leontovych's 'Отче Наш' (in Ukrainian) came straight 'out of heaven.' It's not just that the voices here are superb in every way. The choir took it's time in singing it with an absolute pureness and true feeling for this work, allowing the blend, balance and vocal richness to develop to absolute perfection. I am very familiar with the 'Dumka' Choir and have been present to many of their beautiful performances over the years. They are brilliant performers in portraying Ukrainian music both professionally and respectfully, as it should be done. BRAVO!!!

Я згідна. Леонтович був геніальним композиторем. Світ би не грав його Щедрика до сих пір! Що би ще написав цей геній, якби його не вбили НКВДисти.?.
