Just because you don't see a big buck doesn't mean he ain't there. My family owns 27 acres we hunt on. We put in a pond and food plots. They are three of us that hunt it. And we've spent a lot of time there. And have several trial cams that we've moved around over the years. Anyway from time to time we see tracks of this big buck. I mean I've seen some big buck tracks but these stand out by a country mile. However we have never laid eyes on him or ever caught him on a trail cam. But I'm pretty sure if they are tracks they are deer. Unfortunately the last two years we've not seen any sign. I'm thinking he might have died from old age.
After Mitch Rompla refused to get his "world record" buck entered into the record book, anytime anyone else refuses to do it, I also question their deer's authenticity. The deer could be absolutely real just wasnt killed where he says it was or it wasn't free range. The biggest question no one asking this guy is "who goes to hunt coyotes with a bow?" that's suspicious.

I've harvested many since bigger & smaller and none did i have pics or cameras or do i run cameras now , that takes hunt out of hunting and cameras do more harm than good !
@ryanpittman8690 doesn't matter. Still has to go through the complete process to be awarded as pope and young and until he does then he's making false claims. It's odd for someone to be in magazine articles with these bucks that were killed with a bow but not a single one is listed as pope and young. He clearly wants the recognition because he's on here and he's sending his stories to these local magazines. But he doesn't want to enter them in for a legit pope and young trophy? That's just odd to me.

He can not claim this deer or any deer he's allegedly killed as Pope & Young unless it is officially scored and recorded as such.
