Wow! I was lead here by a pic of Ty Taylor from Vintage Trouble with Roger Blevins... This is great, his voice is great and I *love* the horns. The whole thing is tight. Gotta watch some more!
Ok you guys might not notice it but the bass player kicks ass. Listen to it again and focus on what he is doing. Great groove, time, and arpeggio work. Awesome!
Pops is indeed pretty damn cool. Rog and Pops....father and son combo. Good people to talk to as well. I noticed when I saw them in Pittsburgh and Lancaster a couple of years ago.
As with most great bands... The bass is the glue that bonds melody, rhythm, foundation together.

Oh man, you dudes are makin' me mad. Y'all gotta forget Toronto and Montreal and do a WEST COAST TOUR including a trip to Vancouver, BC.....I'd still have to take 2 ferries and drive for a couple of hours, but I'd be there with a busload of people from my little island!! Damn fine album, boys!
