Nah Bmarsh is a hipocrite cause he said he had no finacial story yet then he knows whay he invested and that's what Fred ask him from the beginning wich Bmarsh did not give Fred the numbers so Fred could match wich fred said plenty of times to Bmarsh. Now Bmarsh is crying that he's in the red. Like everyome is saying at the end of the day Bmarsh does not listen to know one unless he has a hand over them and dont kick back...

I can agree halfway, but Channing didn’t want to invest in the beginning. There’s one thing I can agree from the interview he did with the Pivot, business should have been taken care of from the beginning. That’s a fault on all
Of them. What happened to having conversations, because where I take issue with Fred and Channing is, it shouldn’t have taken a year for you guys to figure out if you wanted to continue on with I am Athlete, because if you know the business part of it wasn’t taken care of, you had all opportunities to step away.

At the time, seeking a $250k investment for a UA-cam podcast was a substantial request, especially considering a youtube sport podcast was something new and not everyone entering the venture had a business background. For them, every action taken at that time was part of a learning curve, potentially contributing to the delays in decision-making. Additionally, Brandon was making strategic moves behind their backs. In a team-oriented podcast, inclusion in meetings regarding deal negotiations would have been essential, but he left them out of it. Brandon's greed became apparent as he sought to claim everything for himself, leading to unfavorable consequences. A more collaborative approach could have resulted in a significant deal, allowing Brandon to recoup his investment and then equitably distribute the remaining business among the founders.

I agree, but it was his business plan. I feel like they should’ve been cool with that and just walked away. But you can’t be halfway in and pick and choose on a business plan he thought of. It was definitely some egos involved but I have to go with Brandon because they had the opportunity to invest or not, and they should’ve been fine with the results. One thing I’ve learned over time, when it comes to business, all that friendship stuff has to be set aside, because this is where that “I’m entitled “ when it should be about business point blank!!!

Cam you don't even have the compacity to speak with Marshall on this level of idea, management, finding talent, etc. Oprah should have been the one hosting this. Cam has a bias relationship with Fred Taylor, and he doesn't like what Brandon has to sayand fred. From the jump, Fred was the odd ball in the studio, which came up every time. He tried to be deep but didn't have the true intellect to carry conversation. Marshal tried fanning life into these dudes. Giving them their second career. They were all homies running a play on the plug, too much plies, but there are all equally important to the show which makes it a wild situation. They just needed the game to get there own stuff because BM would be hard to deal with long term. They didn't like him lil bro'ing them because they are all equally important to football History.

I respect Brendon Marshall's business acumen, in as much as there may have been a fall off between him and the original IAA cast, he has built a blueprint on how to build a sports media company independently. I think what transpired was that they discussed business after the business value and trajectory was determined, as a business man, knowing personally, it can be very tricky discussing shares breakdown when the company is now in motion . He should stipulated the terms way before they even started to shoot to give everyone the chance to determine whether they want to continue or not. The Pivot team took a part from IAA that they felt was great and were able to replicate it well. Brendon is still on the right path from a business perspective, diversifying the content to radio was a good Idea, also establishing a cross sport collaboration with NASA was also a good idea, one that was gonna take time to stick with with the audience but would subsequently work otherwise. I believe the only loser in this is unity amongst black athletes. I wish we could all embrace these brothers' platform and enjoy what they all have to bring to the table and leave their business politics for them sort it out.
