【Introduction】
The film tells the story of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army's third platoon leader Meng Daguan (played by Ren Tianye) during the Korean War. He was ordered to lead a team to rescue the reconnaissance platoon trapped behind enemy lines. After a series of hardships and obstacles, the third platoon successfully joined the reconnaissance platoon led by "Du Shenqiang" Du Chuan (played by Li Dongxue).
