@@janetmitchell3559 Nice try, Webby
Can’t believe there’s not a full live show of the Skids on film.✌🏼
As far as I remember the longest video I have seen is Rock Goes To College which is 25+ mins and there is a low quality home video of the Skids live in Edinburgh from around 1977 which I think was 20+ mins
I know that's RUSSELL WEBB In the white T shirt with a blue stripe x
Yes, that is a young Russell, he would have been 26 or 27 at this time.
So these guys were skint but didn't care, good for them, so different from today's greedy shits
Could have used some background on who this supergroup was.
Singer was from The Skids, guitarist played with Magazine, Visage, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Public Image, bass player was from Slik, Skids, Ultravox, Drummer was from Magazine. Here's a link to a video from Magazine, what you are seeing here is a band with the original singer from Buzzcocks & future members of Ultravox, Banshees, PIL and more ua-cam.com/video/Ft2eXoyxMP8/v-deo.html
@@ScottishTeeVee Thanks. Just watched a vid of yours with Midge Ure playing guitar with Phil Lynott; was not expecting to see Ultravox mixed up with these other names. I know Magazine only by reputation; I should investigate them.
