We enjoyed then visit to Trier. Love the architecture in this lovely and historic city. Spectacular church with it's clock tower, stunning inside and out! Beautiful other buildings and lovely gardens too. Beautiful ducklings, lovely fountains and stunning Roman ruins! Just a lovely tour. Thanks so much for bringing us along.

I just love Trier. Such a special place with a wonderful history to it
Trier... Für mich als (Exil-)Kölner eine ebenso sehens- und besuchenswerte Stadt, wie meine Heimatstadt. Ich war oft dort, da ich einige Jahre meiner Dienstzeit in der Eifel stationiert war und wir jungen Leute an den Wochenenden gerne mal durch Trier flaniert sind. Die pittoreske Altstadt ist mir in schöner Erinnerung - obwohl ich ihre eine meiner schlimmsten Erfahrungen zu verdanken habe: Im Dezember 1971 hat mich der Prüfer für den LKW-Führerschein (C/E) mit einem dem MAN 5 to und einem 1-Achs-Anhänger in die Trierer Altstadt gelotst, und eine diebische Freude daran gehabt, wie ich beim Abbiegen festgefahren hatte und dann rückwärts wieder rausmusste...
Meine Güte... 52 Jahre ist das her... Heute kann einem sowas nicht mehr passieren, da die Altstadst für LKWs gesperrt ist...
Ach so... Fast vergessen: Tolles Video! Gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut!

In Trier war ich mal, da hatte es 41°C in der Stadt. Mir haben die Fußsohlen gekocht. Sehr schöne Aufnahmen,.LG Wolfi
