- Coyote catches a GIANT river Shrimp! Deep in the rainforests of Latin America with some of the planet’s largest species of Shrimp. Their official name is the Freshwater Prawn, and they can grow up to 18 inches in length and have a very unique hierarchy system. Get ready to witness the biggest shrimp you’ve ever seen!

you did an incredible job catching him to begin with this is one of my favorite creature encounters and i can tell you were discouraged/disappointed that you lost it but the fact we got to see it at all was so incredible

Have any of your bites ever gotten really infected after being exposed to such yucky water? Or maybe any parasites? Perhaps that’s too personal of a question but it seems fairly valid! Are these fresh water prawns also called crawdads?
Yeah, they’re known as crawdads, crawfish, crayfish, and prawns. From what I’ve been told they’re the same thing, just different names depending on the area
