Dear Hasan Nisar ji,
Democracy & democratic practices were killed on the day when Late Governor General Jinnah started presiding over the cabinet meetings, quite contrary to the normal, usual pactices of parliamentary form of government. Late PM Winston Churchill used to say that parliamentary form of govt is the least imperfect form of government. Late Jinnah was made popular among muslims by mullah mafia with full support of The English Rulers especially by Late PM Churchill & agents of The English Rulers occupying power at New Delhi. Both Churchill & Jinnah had selfish motives. The results were communal roits & displacements of families in huge numbers. Jinnah had no vision & roadmap for development of Pakistan & muslim public.
Indian public too defaulted by continously blessings power to the Congrees party till 1998. Ofcourse again public in India experimented by giving power to BJP led NDA during 2014 proved succeful & public repeated & stamped the mandate again during 2019.
Media in Pakistan too was unsuccessful in all these years to awaken the public & an institution with gun on shoulder, cooperated by mullah mafia continue to rule public in Pakistan. Intellectuals, media should awaken the public of Pakistan in this context & IK, Usman Budzar, Parvez Khattak, Sharif Brothers, Asaf Ali Zardari ( already selected to replace President Arif Alvi ) are not the good choices as all are tried & tested players. A new leadership among Intellectuals should emerge to lead the public & government in Pakistan. Thanks.
