If I get into food service I certainly wouldn't go crazy with the boxes etc. You have to pace yourself when you have a physical job. You gotta take care of your body
Wassap bro, i just got my cdl through KLLM & my end goal is to go local doing fuel. Im interested into food service to get my tractor trailer experience in. I have previous fedex delivery driver experience before going to CDL school. I did my research with SYSCO & GFS & im going with GFS due to not hearing anything bad about them like most companies. I know everything has its pros & cons. I appreciate all of the information you give out it helps us new folks out here 🤟🏽
hey man great videos I really enjoy watching you and @I’m Anthony TV yall got great info on GFS hopefully I get to meet you I'll be starting on Monday for training there in Miami
Whats good man , i applied to GFS for the Homestead yard but got passed over , went with CBI worked there for a year end enjoyed it. GFS in Homestead schedule is Monday, Tuesday,Thursday ,Friday and Saturday.
Keep them videos coming big dawg! You havent been dropping anything lately.... I applied to GFS as a warehouse selector. Still under consideration. Its been two weeks already and no response yet. Imma apply to Sysco if i dont hear nothing by this week
Appreciate the info man, I'm looking into getting into this job myself. Sorry if I missed it but do you continue with the same hours after training ~5a - 3p like you said? And then averaging about 50 hours per week? Is ot paid starting at 40?
@@SRTYatted I wish we averaged 500. It’s brutal for someone new. I been delivering for years in beverage and this took some getting used to cause ramp.
Is this Houston? I got a job offer but not sure I'll take it. In the interview they told you'll start between 3am - 6am. Nvm, I see you're from Dallas.
Hey I have a question .do you know what mvr qualifications are needed ? I have a clean driving record but 1 car accident. Will that stop me from being hired ?
Got any questions? drop em in the comments 💪🏽

I’m looking at GFS. What schedules are in demand? I’m interested working the night shift when places are closed and you use lock boxes.

Yea try to keep your options open always. And I hear selectors make good money cuz of all the OT just gotta deal with the hours
Okay okay... Thats wussup. Is it more than 1500 a week?!
@@sadico305 don’t know the exact number but I heard it’s more than 70k a year

I see why Texas has a high turnover. U extra board anywhere from 12-5am and nobody goes out with less then 700 unless u in a box truck
That’s crazy we average around 500 daily and box trucks I believe 200 to 400

Tbh I’m not sure
Do you get your own route and do same location everyday once your solo driver or they send you to any location every day or weeks??
I have my route already I do the same stops every week
Are there any drop yards in central Florida I’m planning on relocating
Is the training similar in the west palm location? I have an interview tomorrow
I'm so interested to start my trucking career. Is it too late to start food service driver at 43 years old?
If you can handle a physical job then go for it
How do the work weeks run? Sun to Saturday?
