I just got one for free and it’s pretty nice but I had to patch 2 holes in the canvas and I ripped all the interior shelves out to put new flooring in and build the interior how I want. But I need to paint the canvas to make it look nice. Although it’s in good shape it is stained and it would look nicer painted.
Did you mix the cleaner with water then too? What portions? I’m going to do the same, clean and then paint! How long did it take to dry? How long did the paint take to dry? Did you tape the zippers?
I just used the cleaner to the instructions. Paint dried really fast since it was so think with such a light coat. I left the camper up for 48 hours just to be sure before I closed it again and a few months later I still haven't seen any signs of the paint coming off, creasing, etc. I didn't tape my zippers mostly because the color was so similar to the new one I added! It felt like a waste of time after I started the project. Hope this helps!
Just the inside is painted with a thin coat to clean it up. I'm leaving the outside as-is but cleaning and adding a new coat of Fabric Guard to help with moisture.
Drill brush is a great idea for cleaning. I am so going to get one.

What kind of primer is good for the first time doing your canvas a neutral blue or fark blue

How has it held up so far?
Really great, even with a strong summer heat. Haven't had it through winter yet but many other's have that I've seen with no problems!
