If that's got a choked barrel that can cause a problem when shooting slugs but hearing that they fit really easy it they may not be sized well enough for the bore. Slugs should be snug and typically don't like choked barrels.

Was this shot in an "out of the box" condition? Just wondered if the barrel had been cleaned or if it was "gunked" up from shipping prep? I was hoping for little tighter groups. It is a good looking rifle.
I do know that it will keep the Hades inside 1/2” at 50yds ( haven’t tried a little of different brands) …. Like the gun so much, I just bought the XB HP model with the unchoked 700 mm barrel for slugs
@ridge_runner yeah… it’s doing 1015 with Jsb MKII heavies (33.95 grns) and 980 with 36 grn H&N slugs… I haven’t started testing a lot yet (surgery), but at 50 yds, the MKII heavies are still holding 1/2” at that speed…and honestly, I’m nowhere back near back 100%
When shooting for accuracy, it would be good if you used a rear rest to take out any variables. It's hard to tell if those open groups are from you or the gun.
Thanks for the comment.. I struggle using a rear bag in general, but more specifically with this gun. The stock is not "ridge" and there's little to support on a bag at the back. I find my groups are much worse when I try using a rear bag (generally) which is why I seldom use one. With that said, I'm going to get this gun back out again and see how it does with some of the new slugs that I've received. I'll see what other rest options may help improve accracy. Cheers AGW

I shrunk my groups considerably when I went to a front bench rest that was adjustable for elevation and windage and then a solid stable rear rest. I will be curious to see how that CZ barrel will shoot slugs, from what I understand they choke their barrels and are not slug friendly. BTW, you do a great job with your videos.

@ridge_runner the kings and hades are about the same… can’t shoot a lot, but the HP has been great so far

Why on earth would you shoot Grizzleyz out of that thing? They are some of the worst grouping slugs out there. Maybe you need to try some of my slugs.
