Yes you can, but I personally prefer it as a shoulder bag. I'm also petite so I can wear it crossbody easily after adjusting the straps, but not sure how comfortable it would be if you are tall.

Yes the canvas its thicker than the Shakespeare & Company canvas bag. Also it is a bit heavier and has an interior zip pocket

The strap is adjustable and can be worn crossbody depending on how tall you are. Machine washable and line dry!
