Thanks for the reply, I have a Tracer 700 it's perfect for one person, November I'm looking at upgrading to the 900. What changes did you do to thé suspension, front springs & rear shock? I like what you have done so far. Frank.
Thanks to like it :-) I changed the front springs and the rear shock. I bought them in France, a French company. The name is "Shock factory", it's not too expensive. It's better to change the two suspension, but you must adjust it anyway. The new suspensions improve a lot the motorcycle and it's better when you ride alone or with a passenger. After the change, you no longer feel the road imperfections, and in turn the motorcycle become a "rail". It's really better. I think it's better to change the suspensions before the exhaust like exemple, because you will feel more difference with the news suspensions.
Frank Stocker A lot of noise about the suspension. Yamaha imlroved this for 2017 plus its all a matter of suspension set up and proper air pressure. If anyone thinks that Yamaha would risk reputation by deliberately using cheap suspencion better think again
You are right. But even if Yamaha improved them in 2017, it's really hard to set up them and it's not adapted if you drive a lot of time with a passenger, a lot of luggage or just if you have a sports driving. I think it's one of the best thing to change in the FJ/MT 09, like on the FZ/MT 07
A second video very soon with other options
Some nice mods, especially the long range lights and the neat and tidy handlebar switch and LED warning light. Ride safe.
Nice mods! Where did you get that fog light switch? I’m going to order those handguards right now, the stock ones are worthless at blocking wind
Thank you for the info, I agree the suspension is more important than the exhaust.
Where did you get the Tinted Windshield Screen?
Vi,Nice bike You have.

I did very similar mods to my Tracer =D nice job ;)
Yes I put scotch on the handlebar under the left heated grips :-)
Are you happy with the suspension?
No I'm not so happy. I changed them 2 weeks ago. It's better if you have a lot of time a passenger and luggage
