This is a fun game, the components are awesome, the rulebook was very good - I had a few little questions that I posted on BGG after my first play and I got quick responses. I'm very happy with this one, glad I backed it!

He took off, but Michael Gross stuck around (and I'll take a heavily armed and experienced Burt Gummer who survived 6 films so far and most likely will survive the 7th one - heck, he even became a grabboid hunter).
The one that lets you end their turn on someone else's space. Does that work on reverse? Can someone end their turn on YOUR space because of that inherent ability?
I Backed this one mainly because I love Tremors, which this game is not like at all, hen-hen. This and the new version of Camel Up are Family faves for now!

I'm seeing all the good feedback on the post but I'm not feeling the actions you've got to perform. For example you collect rubble to make items. When i saw rocks i instantly thought stand on the rocks so the worms can't 'hear' you. Having said that, I've only seen the first film. Shameful i know.
I was excited until I heard it was competitive. "Tremors" - which this is totally NOT based on - is about people coming together to defeat the worms. Competing to see who can kill the most seems to let too much air out of the theme.
A midway review on Amazon confirms what I suspected about this game. Not much variance in gameplay other than movement mitigation, a delivery mechanic, and a limited combat aspect. More variance would do this game some good (rubble collection, egg types with surprise graboidlings, the usual compounding of personal objective cards, a co-op mechanism).
My favorite part of this review is he said "Symbology". "Symbology? I'm sure the word you we're looking for there is Symbolism. What is the Symbolism there?" =) Good movie.

The dog is awesome, I used him in my first solo game, has a great power, and he drove around just fine! :-)

I like the paper quality of the rulebook. I thought it was adequate enough and did not feel the need to look up a rule on bgg.

No, Rebekah is the only character that can end her turn on another player's space. She has an exemption to a rule everyone else must follow.
