I came back from Zanzibar 3 days ago and I already miss it! People are so friendly there and there’s absolutely nothing to worry about when it comes to safety. The beaches are absolutely stunning and there’s a lot of fun things to do. I will definitely go back one day to this beautiful island with it’s beautiful people. Their lifestyle has made me believe that in Europe we may have all the comfort, but most of us aren’t really happy. People in Zanzibar have simple lives, yet smile more often and are way more friendly than people in Europe.
The balance of having just enough in life and being happy and having all the comforts of life and being miserable, the people here strike me as very thankful for the little things that life provide. The gentleman at end being 40 years old but looks way younger than that shows that the stress that the rest of the world goes though really sucks the life out of you. Thank you for showing us this amazing place.

My grandfather went to Zanzibar in 1940s. My father was born there. They Came back to Oman in 1966... Many of my relatives speak Swahili. We still have relatives in Zanzibar. Hopefully one day I will visit the island.
I'm blown away by the vibrant culture and rich history of Zanzibar showcased in this video. The architecture, markets, and local traditions are so fascinating. I would love to immerse myself in this unique destination

I used to live in Zanzibar and that is one of the best guides I have ever seen. Would recommend it to everyone who is focused not only on white beaches and sun. Zanzibar has much more to offer!

Stone town and the beaches are absolutely beautiful 😍. People absolutely friendly and cheerful. I really felt the love.
I have visited Zanzibar twice this year. I went last August as a volunteer Teacher and in December for holidays. I will go again in August. It is one of the most amazing destinations I have ever visited in my whole life. The warm people who smile all the time, the food, the magnificent sunsets and mesmerizing views. You should definitely visit this island.
Apart from the things you do I also visited the Rock Restaurant which was amazing, the Butterfly forest and Mneba island 🤍 🇹🇿
This holiday was the highlight of my life till now.
African people are poor but extremely happy whereas European people have everything but they are miserable.
Everytime I visit the island my experience there is much better than the previous one.

I just came back from an amazing holiday in Zanzibar. I am still in the Pole Pole mood. Most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. The people are the sweetest I have ever met. It was so nice that I wanted to stay longer.

Teaching English those children and helping those people YES was the highlight of my life.
People have absolutely nothing and they are full of bliss and happiness.
I came back from the island totally blessed that's why I went 3 times in a year.

Safari blue, Mnemba island and Nakupenda beach, Prison island, Cheetah's Rock, Rock Restaurant, CR hope Foundation (Teaching English to African students), Kite Surfing in Paje, Jozani and Butterfly Forest, Freddie Mercury's house, Spice Farm, Local Parties, visit turtle aquarium in Nungwi. I hope you had a great time on the island 🤍🇹🇿

As far as I remember it means land for black people.
Zanzibar means the “land of the Blacks” or “the land of the Black people,” or “the coast where Black people live.” Cloves. Traders from the Arabian Peninsula, the Persian Gulf region of modern-day Iran (especially Shiraz), and west India probably visited Zanzibar as early as the 1st century.

Magnificient tropical islands of Zanzibar.
Your post really did a lot of memories being remembered. A lot of changes in Zanzibar since 1995, our ship used to bring containers there from Salalah, Stone town was a famous hang out for tourists, a very cozy and nice historical place....I had been around the island many times in a XR400 bike.
I 'd reminisce about how time has flown, I always have so many memories of that time in Zanzibar particularly stone Town.
Zanzibar is beautiful.
I've just watched a video from a UA-camr called Sabbatical, when he was visiting Tanzania. He even learnt the local language to communicate - this show a lot of respect.

Its definitely a wonderful tourist destination. Zanzibar has the most beautiful beaches in the world. This guy is so biased. He only focused on the bad and never showed any good. Please check vlogs on Zanzibar by Tayo Aina or any other youtuber you will see a whole different Zanzibar

@@switzerlandch4986 well if it’s not prefence for international tourists it wouldn’t have hotels costing 2000usd and full booked!! Cause those are international tourists booking those hotels. Visit Zanzibar in December and go to Nungwi beaches you will understand.
