All I know is that they are allows to carry firearms as long as they keep to the gun laws of that certain state.

In my state to be a Bounty Hunter you need to be prior police or have a Degree in Criminal Science/ Justice . You must be licenced and have passed the academy. The average wage here for them is 47K a year , hell a waiter can make that here and not have to get shot. By contrast a Deputy Sheriff here makes 60k a year.
Not about the money bro. The money helps, but it’s about the reason. Plus, average includes all the ones making next to nothing and all those making 6 figures. But at the end of the day, despite the what people may think, there’s a reason those who make it their life do it, and it’s not the money.
If you work in a STATE that has LESS than ONE MILLION population, obviously your sherrif, police officers and etc... WILL NOT BE EARNING the same income and DON'T HAVE same EXPERIENCE and EXPERTISE than one working in CITY OF ONE MILLION PLUS in population.

Bounty hunting is very difficult profession, it's to competitive, I used to be security guard. You mess up, you go to jail, like arresting wrong fugitive, in Rhode island you cant arrest fugitive in court property. 2 bounty hunters 3 years ago didn't do their homework.

There is no way I believe he would take on a bear with a knife. A bear is 5-10 times stronger than a man. They always run, and if they can't out run they go up a tree. There is one thing for certain, if you corner one they will fight. They have 4 inch claws and teeth to match. But if you ever been hunting and seen one in the woods if would scare the crap out of you. I saw one maybe 300 lbs. in the woods when squirrel hunting and believe me, I was thankful he ran.
