I do prefer my 987.1 over the 986.1 I had before but loved driving both
True, I have a 981S and on most public roads there are few opportunities to get to those higher rev sound delights.
Interesting vlog Robert. I recently sold my M2 Competition with a view to buying a 987 Cayman S outright. I decided to wait to see how the market goes over the next few months and bought a very cheap car for a runaround. For the princely sum of £2k I bought. mk3 Mazda MX5 roadster and suddenly I’m thinking maybe the Boxster should come on the list. I never knew how much fun open top motoring can be. As an aside, the little MX5 can go round bends well and has a brilliant gear change - mind you I suspect speeding tickets are a thing of the past in it 😂. Cheers, Kevin.
Haha thanks for your comments Kevin. I'm a big fan of the MX5 having owned 2. Great all round sportscars 👍
Best Boxster? Mine, of course. Arctic silver 987.1S running a 3.4lt manual. Factory standard. How do you improve on perfection?
I had a 987 S for 16 years, traded in for a 981 Spyder 2 years ago. “A newer Porsche is a better car but a worse Porsche.” Yeah, kinda like that…
