100-200km/h 5.65s as quick as AMG GT Black Series, M5cs Gpower 820hp, Audi Rs7 950hp and quicker than Huracan STO, 488GTB, 911 992 Turbo s stock and more
AMG GT Black Series, Huracan STO, they're both made for the track, where even with less power than this bmw, they'll blow it away without even trying. Totally different cars. This bmw can only go fast on the autobahn. It's like comparing a 300 hp WRC car with this bmw, yes there is less power there, but a lot of horses in the real world don't play a huge role in comparison to the complete package, including suspension, weight distribution, centre of gravity, etc.
By the way WRC bollids have a power to weight ratio of 1.5-3.5kg/hp. Yes after tuning to 750hp, the ratio will be about the same, but for stock, it is a hippo on wheels, 1840kg xdrive for a sports sedan is ridiculous...Toyota Land Cruiser Prado weighs 1850kg for comparison, but it is a full-fledged off-roader on the frame, with axles

Turbo s 991 has 580hp. And gt-r black series has 720hp and do 100-200 5.39s and is track car. And weight difference is 82,5kg
750hp is just about a right figure for a fast car...u could use the power all the time

A serious question is how such an agressive tune impacts the engine reliability. Here we have a relatively small 3 liter I6 engine boosted from 550HP to 750HP, and from 650NM to 860NM of torque, which is 36% power increase. For sure, increased power and extra force endured by cylinders causes significantly greater material wear, but also a risk of catastrofic failure such as bends of piston shafts. There is a reason why BMW is not selling the M3 CS model with the power greater than 550HP and torque with more than 650NM. How long will such a tuned engine last?
They don't sell them with that power because it would not meet emissions standards and would steal customers from their more expensive performance models e.g. M5, M8 etc. A good tune at this level with correct operation (warming up, cooling down, and not banging off the limiter when stationary) will not greatly impact engine life. More wear and tear for sure but not a big issue for many years if well looked after.
I also believe someone's done the work in the USA and they're good for 1200hp on stock internals lol
@@NomadJRG What pro tuner companies promise is to even improve the emissions rating after tuning, so I doubt the emissions are the reason why BMW does not tune up their engines to higher power outputs. Further, M4 GT3 also is running on ca. 550 HP, and in racing they do not care about the emissions. Finally, why would BMW not advertise their M8 with V8 at 1000 HP, so they can easily beat AMG and Audi RS models on the same GT format tier?

Possibly this unit has a speed limiter, the M3 CS reaches 302kmh. It doesn't make much sense in my opinion, even if it accelerates and regains speed like a son of the beast.
Why slow down at 300km/h when 8th gear was left at 4:22?
