I would believe that it may have been a copyright infringement from the part of the contestants, I thought that was merely a contest, & the contestants didn't put on a show with commercial interest in mind? Do you buy tickets to this contest overall? In that case the organizers had to know which soundtracks those who part-took intended to use, in which case you'd need copyright permission too...
I remember being there live. It was great and Yulia actually tripped over the camera when she was running but she handled it gracefully almost as if it was part of the routine. They’re great! I miss them performing together. I love Riccardo too but the chemistry she had with Max is unmatched!
I really liked them together. When I try to explain my preference to dance friends... they're just very focused on rankings & don't see the little extra something I've always seen in this pairing. 🤷
she gave up living near her parents, and came here to be the greatest. And she did. She really sacrificed a lot for the sport of dance, and now can look with pride on how she is truly the best.

Seeing this for the first time and it's 2021. Wow, these 2 were freaking AWESOME. I have a Bucket List and learning to dance 💃is on it. I have 2 left feet and no rhythm 😕. But with Covid still active, I may never cross dancing off my list.
This is AMAZING! I love how they used the inspiration from the Matrix movie - particularly the choreographed couple's dance where they bend back as if inspired by Keanu Reeves move to dodge the bullet. So creative! Love this dance interpretation of the Matrix movie! Wow!

it's fine, look up Yulia and Riccardo! They are a fabulous team... and they went on to marry. They just retired in 2019. Max also went on to marry his next partner, he came back to dancing also! But Yulia and Riccardo are very matched in size, and the result was WOW.
If Yulia would of wore a short black wig they would made it look like Neo and Trinity dancing together. But it was still very good, Yuia with Max were very creative in their dances very entertaining. Yulia with Riccardo is more traditional and classic latin ballroom.
Just a small thank you to the commentators for murdering an enthralling and captivating performance. Show numbers of this artistic quality don't need commentary. Just let the viewer watch and immerse into the theatre of it all. Purely from a personal and an artistic point of view I prefer this Julia to the one we have now.
