Shoto is one of my favorite characters. His backstory and character development are the reasons I watch the show in the first place. The way he slowly opens up to his friends is really heartwarming because they make him feel like he's part of a loving family, especially since he never felt that kind of love from his own like Toya did. But at least he's still has a close relationship with his mom.
I like Shoto overall as a character because his progression of him using his Half Hot and Half Cold as well as his progression of making friends. The character growth for Shoto is probably one of my favourite ones in MHA
well I wouldn't like someone for being "cool and hot" only if he's a nice person or not, and yeah todorokis a nice person but he's not my fave. I prefer deku more. he's such a sweetheart.

Is it bad that I think as time passes on Todoroki feels sidelined. Compared to Bakugo and Midoriya. I feel like some day he won't be at the top three anymore. Hopefully in the future that will change with Touya. He feels like Sasuke but with Better Writing. I think I see a comparison here. I don't know if this perfect comparison or no Shoto and Touya:Itachi and Sasuke Reversed. The difference is that Eldest Sibling hates and threatens to kill the younger sibling. Endeavour :Very Bad Fugaku.
Agreed. Todoroki has a lot of character development but doesn't get actual skill development. When it comes to technique, he's pretty much behind everyone in class 1-A (yes, even Mineta has more techniques). All he has is heaven piercing wall, which he spams all the time and only varies in shape and size, flashfreeze heatwave that he only recently managed to use better, and flashfire fist. His left side is really underdeveloped, but so is his right side. Plus, he is very dependent on his quirk but has no hand-to-hand combat training, which is a major weakness of his that Stain and Tetsutetsu were easily able to explore (he nearly got his left arm amputated, ffs). So yeah, he can get all the character development he needs, but if he doesn't get better finesse to back that up, he is going to stay more and more sidelined

My favorite character in My Hero Academia is Shoto Todoroki. Because his Backstory was the most interesting,Impressive,Best and saddest backstorys of all time. And Todoroki's quirk Half Cold Half Hot is one of the most powerful,Strongest,Dangerous,durable and protective quirks of all time. And Todoroki is the most popular boy in UA school and all the girls like Todoroki including Momo Yaoyorozu she likes Shoto Todoroki and I believe that Momo&Todoroki like each other but Todoroki doesn't want to emit it. And the fight between Todoroki vs Midoriya was amazing,powerful,impressive,interesting and most best fights ever. And Shoto Todoroki in season 6 and season 7 was the best that i have seen because I like the fight between Shoto Todoroki vs Dabi/Touya Todoroki. And Shoto Todoroki is my favorite character is all of the series in My Hero Academia in history.

I think that Todoroki was a very good character as he is Zuko but doesn’t start as a villain to later be a hero I like that his character growth from the second Season from his Battle with Deku who was his First Friend I like how trusting they get after The sport Festival with Deku getting Todoroki’s help for saving Tenya from Stain and his Good Friendship with Momo especially from their Team up against Aizawa and that They voted for each other for Class President.
I watched this video because I was curious why Todoroki was number one on favorites instead of Bakugo and now I see why. He too is a favorite on my top five (not over bakugou however I do believe I like Bakugo better because I relate to his crushing expections and I did cope with anger at a certent extent and point but I just related easier to Bakugou better. I do though like how his character development in comeing I thought it was intresting and the variety of him contrast to different character. When I first saw I didn’t pay to mind him that much until the fight between him and Deku which made me understand him more. I know that when first introduced to Bakugou I immediately made him my favorite when he had been attempted to be rescued by Deku and keyed off him a little. It just showed me that he wasn’t heartless, he has feelings, and he’s only a short tempered kid.

i don't really " like" todoroki but i don't really like ida uraraka or even deku but for what i had "heard" my favorite female character of 1A is very loved and i don't know for the male one (favorite of 1A) my favorite character of MHA (on ANY level or side) is fropy i really like her personality and on male if my memory is good his name is "mezo shoji" ( multiples arms that can make grow any body part at the end of his "arms" i like to his personality... but i think the character i hated the most is bakush*t too agressive for me... but at least latter he calm down after i think in females my number 2 would be mina ashido ( same personality) and 3 nejire ( if i remember well her name the only female of the "big 3") and in males... harder to know maybe in 2 kirishima i like his "honest" personality but he is a little too noisy for me and in 3 hard to know maybe the guy with the huge tail (personality too) for who i don't like in man it's easy but i think he is not much liked the 1A perv kid with the sticky balls and in female... i don't know that will go between uraraka and momo (momo because i find her " blank/tasteless" personality wise and uraraka... i don't know there is something that i can"t put my finger on that i don't like in her " bubly" atitude but i too don't like the vilainess that transform will drinking blood!
