My new pc monitor for color grading: www.viewsonic.com/colorpro/pr...
So over the last couple of months I think I've definetely improved my colorgrading and I thought is was about time to share my workflow of Davinci Resolve with you guys. I've first shared how I grade from scratch and later I showcase how I made the Luts that I loaded onto my Black Magic 6k. You can also apply this workflow to any other camera and profile and load it onto an external monitor to expose correctly to speed up your grading in post.

Damn bro this is actually really interesting! Love this video. Smashed it
Hey Jack! There are so many incredible adventures waiting for us in Afghanistan. From trekking in the rugged mountains of the Hindu Kush to exploring the ancient ruins of Bamiyan, there's no shortage of excitement. We could also go on a thrilling horseback ride through the breathtaking valleys, or take a dip in the crystal-clear lakes that dot the landscape. Plus, as a local, I can show you all the hidden gems that most tourists miss out on. I'm confident that this adventure trip will be one for the books if we embark on it together!
It so amazing to see your process. I follow you on Instagram as well and your work is fantastic.

My man! You're videos are so fantastic it was like im in a dream yet still looking realistic and natural. So far! This is the best editing I've ever seen. May I know what drone did you use as well? And the color profile is it D-Cinelike? D-log m? Normal? HLG?
Daaaamn that is sick. You inspired me to learn more about davinci. How did you learn to work with waveform?
great knowledge here Kay! Amazing, You make it look so simple tho hahaha
Glad you like it!! Trained the eye enough I think ahah! Takes time🙌🏽
Even this tutorial video looks good the color grade
Thank you so much!
Thanks bro

This has helped me so much thank you so much!
One question, how are you able to use the m83 song in this video without a copyright claim?
thanks, you just earned a new subscriber!
Good job! What LUT export settings do you use for on monitor LUTs like Atomos, SmallHD etc? Is it 33 points as well or is there a different way specifically for field monitors?
Thanks So Much,, For Tutorial Friend
Thanks for watching🙌🏽
The best video
Greate! Thanks for sharing your knowledges. Which mic did you use in this tutorial? Could you pls share?
Perpect!
Awesome content man!
Would love to buy your luts. Will they work for premiere pro? Also in regard to make adjustments and so?
Hi beautiful colour grading, just wondering do you mask out the subject's skin so it is not affected by heavy colour grading and ruin its natural look? Keep up the vids man, subbed
justkay broh plz teach us how to do videography how to get shots, clips for your videos.
I will for sure! Thanks for the suggestion
@@justkayy definitely bro...plz share with us your experience .because i love videography and we are...we are waiting for your teachings
the colors are so beautiful😅👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you! Easily to achieve with these luts😅
@@justkayy maybe I'll try it soon when my tools are complete 😀🙏🏻
Insane colour grading bro. Just wondering, do you always have to take over-exposed videos to colour grade? And if so, what are the best camera settings?
I always expose the right way with the the histogram to make sure it’s not over or under exposed actually. I never film is harsh lighting situations as I think it lowers the quality of your films adding clips like that so I hardly overexpose! Only if I am filming a sillouhette, into the sun or into a direct light source like a window or light.
Nice
Thank you so much🙏🏾
Epic colours and shots! what lens is that on the BM Camera at the 2:25 mark?
Color Grading is my favorite part
Its posible to download one short clip from the video to practice? 4secs would be great
hey kay.. i was just wondering if you could tell me whats the name of that pc accessory you are using in adjusting your colors? i mean the round one underneath you cool monitor. hehe. thanks in advance..
Nice grading. What camera did you use?
Equipazo…👏👏👏🤘😘
Gracias!!🙌🏽
Do these work on D-Cinelike mini 3 footage? Whats your advice for that?
Bro can you please do a tutorial on how you actually created one of your luts from scratch
From 3:15 I show this🙏🏾
@@justkayy yeah ..loved it...😁😁😁
@@justkayy i think he was talking about the creative lut
Wow this is great. Can this be done on premiere Pro?
Hey man, i just bought your LUT Bundle yesterday but every single LUT file dont work in Premier and Davinci. it just says "Missing Look Up Table"
Ive loaded plenty of luts in the past and never had this problem until trying out these ones. Please help me out I paid a lot of money for this.
I like this video so much inspiring to make me more vlog in my UA-cam channel..
Thanks🙌🏽
Incredible work! Do these luts work for sony camera’s too?
Thank you so much!! My creative (signature) Luts do! But the Black Magic Luts don’t. I’m taking a Sony to my next trip to create Luts for it. I want them to work perfectly like these Black Magic Luts so it will take some time.
I recommend lowering the bass on the EQ a bit for your mic. Also, are you Dutch?
Thanks! Yea🙌🏽
Muy bueno Kay
anyone know if these luts work on lumafusion thanks
Du you have LUTs that can be loaded right in to Filmora? I'm an author, but love filming when I travel in Indonesia. However, I don't want to spend too much time on it.
Hii kay hopeyou are doing well..i just wanted to ask that can i get those sample black magic raw footage so that i can practice color grading on it
Unfortunately that’s not possible, but on Artgrid there is a lot of RAW footage available in case. Sorry!
Nice and do you use Davinci Resolve for editing as well? Or just color grading? I thought you were using Pr
Thanks a lot! Yea now I do🙌🏽
@@justkayy oh ok. Isn't Pr better for editing? May be, for Pro's like you any software is good 😊
owwwwww Thanks bro
how can we insert luts into our camera , i have a7iii ,there is certain way?please tell us if you can
You can do it with an external monitor🙌🏽
❤❤
Thank you so much🙏🏾🙏🏾
Amazing video! What do you edit with?
Davinci now! Before I used both Davinci and premire
@@justkayy thank you! Love your work btw!
