Prada Luna Rosa Ocean that you mentioned is the original EDT version right ? It's such an underrated fragrance. I personally prefer it over the new EDP.

After owning 130+ fragrances this would be my list (not my logical list but only my favorites of all time): - Tom Ford F*cking Fabulous (for special occasions) - Salvatore Ferregamo Uomu (best sweet winter fragrance) - Armani Acqua Di Gio Profondo Lights (I have 7backup bottles but Profondo is the best alternative as the best summer fragrance ever) - Xerjoff Casamorati Italica (best gourmand fragrance, the new Paco Rabbane Invictus Elixir would be a great alternative to this because they are both very unique) - Versace Dylan Blue (best blue ever imo, good compliments) - YSL La Nuit De L’homme (my most complimented signature fragrance and my first fragrance ever) - Azzaro Wanted By Night or Paco Rabbane Privé (best cinnamon scents) - Azzaro Wanted Parfum (Parfum Intense or Paco Rabbane One Million Lucky very good alternatives as a good winter sweet scent) - Hermes Eau Givrée (longest lasting summer fragrance, JPG Ultra Male On Board is a very good alternative as a good summer fragrance, they’re totally different but perfect for summer) - DSQUARED2 Green WOOD (best green smelling fragrance that I use on my pillow or bed before sleeping because it really helps relaxing) Im reality I would still own probably around 20-30 fragrances if I would have to ditch out my collection but those are the biggest hits for me :)
I try to love my Profondo but the drydown is just too weird and offputting. I wish it had the top notes permanently. I ended up using Allure and Italian Love as my summer scents.
I use La Nuit de L'homme the same way you do. I take a shower after work, or after working out after work, shower and put it on for the rest of the night if I am staying in. The One EDP goes on after my evening shower if I'm going out.
When talking designer fragrances, BDC EDP and The One EDP are two fragrances I need to have forever. If I had to go down to just two fragrances, those two could cover everything for me. BDC EDP would be my year round daily, while The One EDP would be my go out at night fragrance. I'm glad I don't have to go down to two cause that would mean no Layton, no Bleu Electrique, no One Luminous Night. Still, BDC EDP and The One EDP would be the two I'd pick if I could only have two.
I agree. I'm always going to need one of those jack of all trades fragrance, and it would really suck to not have a nice cardamom fragrance. The One EDT, The One EDP, or La Nuit De L'Homme are my options atm

@@jimlittle5769 yes, that is indeed what I meant, after I finish thosec2, they will not be coming back. Mind you: it pains me! But my collection has got out of hand and I decided Im going to continue with about 10 scents. Btw, for d&g the one edp, I chose to keep ysl la nuit, and for bdc edp I chose to keep dior homme original (not quite the same but a good allrounder) . Btw2: I had 3 bottles of bdc epd. i finished of 1.5. Bottle now
@@m.sordam2430 Nice choices! I have La Nuit de L'homme as well, along with the Bleu Electrique flanker (which I absolutely love and have 60 and 100 ml bottles of). I just find The One EDP to be the better date night fragrance over La Nuit de L'homme, as does my wife.. I also think it's performance is better. Those two reasons are why I'd pick The One EDP over La Nuit de L'homme if I HAD to, which I don't...so that's nice 🙂
I agree with you that ADG Profundo is one of my go-to's..actually wearing it right now. However, I have to majorly disagree with you about GG Reserve Privee..it just smells nasty. I heard so much about this one with the hype on it and went to the mall with the mind of buying it. When I asked the sales guy where it was so I could smell it he just looked at me and said...."Be warned". I smelt it and was like wow, that stuff stinks. The sales guy was "man, I can't tell you how many guys come in asking for it, and when they smell it, most have the same reaction as I did...WTF smell is this. The sales guy absolutely hated it as well. However, he showed be GG Boisee and man was that stuff good. That was his favorite from the GG line and I bought that one. If you never smelled Reserve Privee, just open up a bottle of Jack Daniels, or better yet just throw shots of Jack Daniels on you and you got Reserve Privee on you. It is a very overwhelming whiskey/boozy smell. I like to drink Jack, not wear it.

I have 12, but only wear 10. I love all 10 of those and want to wear them. If I had a bigger collection, it would take time away from those. Also, let's face it, 10 bottles will last about 10 years. How many do we need? I say that, but I know I'll get a few more down the line...not too many...but a few.
There's no shame in having that small of a collection. To be honest, people that have lots of fragrances generally admire people like you that keep a smaller collection. Keep it up

I would throw Creed Aventis in there, but I’m sure as many of us know by now it has been re-formulated to death, and is no longer worthy of the title. It once held, but those are my top frag’s, as of now…
I only have about 35 bottles but im finding when I've went to niche most are challenging or just not enjoyable. Good designer are just good scents and I'd rather I and people around me enjoy the smell and not have to wrestle with dissecting it. I like almost every one of my designer scents over Layton, cedrat Boise, all the cdn clones and even Guerlain (its pretty good though).

I use La Nuit de L'homme the same way you do. I take a shower after work, or after working out after work, shower and put it on for the rest of the night if I am staying in. The One EDP goes on after my evening shower if I'm going out.
Guerlain l'homme ideal eau de parfum has been reformulated. I had the first version. Is the current one still good and performing?
When talking designer fragrances, BDC EDP and The One EDP are two fragrances I need to have forever. If I had to go down to just two fragrances, those two could cover everything for me. BDC EDP would be my year round daily, while The One EDP would be my go out at night fragrance. I'm glad I don't have to go down to two cause that would mean no Layton, no Bleu Electrique, no One Luminous Night. Still, BDC EDP and The One EDP would be the two I'd pick if I could only have two.
I agree. I'm always going to need one of those jack of all trades fragrance, and it would really suck to not have a nice cardamom fragrance. The One EDT, The One EDP, or La Nuit De L'Homme are my options atm

@@jimlittle5769 yes, that is indeed what I meant, after I finish thosec2, they will not be coming back. Mind you: it pains me! But my collection has got out of hand and I decided Im going to continue with about 10 scents. Btw, for d&g the one edp, I chose to keep ysl la nuit, and for bdc edp I chose to keep dior homme original (not quite the same but a good allrounder) . Btw2: I had 3 bottles of bdc epd. i finished of 1.5. Bottle now
@@m.sordam2430 Nice choices! I have La Nuit de L'homme as well, along with the Bleu Electrique flanker (which I absolutely love and have 60 and 100 ml bottles of). I just find The One EDP to be the better date night fragrance over La Nuit de L'homme, as does my wife.. I also think it's performance is better. Those two reasons are why I'd pick The One EDP over La Nuit de L'homme if I HAD to, which I don't...so that's nice 🙂
My two favorites are Prada Lhomme Intense for the day everyday and Tom Ford Oud Wood for spec occ.

I agree with you that ADG Profundo is one of my go-to's..actually wearing it right now. However, I have to majorly disagree with you about GG Reserve Privee..it just smells nasty. I heard so much about this one with the hype on it and went to the mall with the mind of buying it. When I asked the sales guy where it was so I could smell it he just looked at me and said...."Be warned". I smelt it and was like wow, that stuff stinks. The sales guy was "man, I can't tell you how many guys come in asking for it, and when they smell it, most have the same reaction as I did...WTF smell is this. The sales guy absolutely hated it as well. However, he showed be GG Boisee and man was that stuff good. That was his favorite from the GG line and I bought that one. If you never smelled Reserve Privee, just open up a bottle of Jack Daniels, or better yet just throw shots of Jack Daniels on you and you got Reserve Privee on you. It is a very overwhelming whiskey/boozy smell. I like to drink Jack, not wear it.

I have 12, but only wear 10. I love all 10 of those and want to wear them. If I had a bigger collection, it would take time away from those. Also, let's face it, 10 bottles will last about 10 years. How many do we need? I say that, but I know I'll get a few more down the line...not too many...but a few.
There's no shame in having that small of a collection. To be honest, people that have lots of fragrances generally admire people like you that keep a smaller collection. Keep it up

I only have about 35 bottles but im finding when I've went to niche most are challenging or just not enjoyable. Good designer are just good scents and I'd rather I and people around me enjoy the smell and not have to wrestle with dissecting it. I like almost every one of my designer scents over Layton, cedrat Boise, all the cdn clones and even Guerlain (its pretty good though).
I agree but I enjoy trying to figure out niche colognes like imaginary authors. Very frustrating to wear but that's what I really like about it

Is night vision lacking the performance? It is very fresh which I love but people say it does not last long
