Prospecting a nameless creek how much GOLD will it hold?

- In this video I go to a new creek to prospect for gold and see just how much gold might be there. The creek doesn't have a name and after prospecting there I feel it should have.
What should I name it? I spend the day sniping and detecting for gold on bedrock. The results are good join me on this epic adventure.

Yeh I actually do pretty good first trip in usually if there’s good gold in an area I’ve done 2 more trips in since and both days under a gram each 😖
Great vid Levi , beautiful scenery , and awesome gold . Just imagine that gold may have been there since before the Pyramids were built , just waiting for you , lol . no wonder gold is valuable , it's rare and hard to find , it can be underwater or in the earth for thousands of years and never tarnishes , or rusts , always looks beautiful , and it's money you find ,if your lucky , and that's the fun part , it don't get much better than that , cheers mate .
It’s cool huh often wonder just how long it’s been there
Once again. Levi, you find some beautiful areas. Well done on the crevices. So much gold, so little time.

There cool hey
Tassie Boys Prospecting Indeed mate, prehistoric relics of a bygone age.
Water has to be pure fresh to sustain them.
Had one in the garden under shade cloth once & progressively it died off no matter how much I tended it, watered it & fertilised it.
Turned out the water supply dam was progressively going saline & the more water I gave it, the faster it died.
They hate salt.
Thanks champ, blood nice country down in tassie
You’re killing it Levi keep up the good work buddy 👊🏻🤠👍🏻
Cheers m8

Yes that’s a good point most the time it does shrink but sometimes it suprises me

Thanks mate 👍🏼👍🏼
Only Gold? none gemstone?very good the video!
Thankyou we do find gems occasionally we have blue tassie saffires, topaz, amthyst
Great video. Watched the first one yesterday and had to subscribe. Watched a lot of videos and your seem to be about the best. We do some sniping while dredging in the Midwest USA. We break up the bedrock with big pry bars. Find a lot of gold under bedrock layers, sometimes a foot below the bedrock. Are you allowed to do the same ? Thanks for sharing the videos ! I also assume you can't use a suction dredge.
Thanks heaps glad your enjoying them no dredging here and yes we are ok to break bedrock up I have done a little of what your saying but haven’t had luck with that here maybe in other parts of Tassie though it’s different gold and deposits everywhere you go on Tasmania very diverse countryside
Ho hard is it for visitors to find similar spots to prospect for a week or 2. Is it government property or private ?? Are there organized trips where a person can hire a guide. Maybe you :)
What a beautiful spot
You could name it "exempt creek".
We have about 185 creeks with that name in Victoria - and there are only 200 creeks in Victoria
This is a huge payoff. Great work dude!
this gives me gold fever
Great get out there 👍🏻😁
Grouse vid Levi love ya work👍🏻
Cheers mate 👌🏻
MAN LVE THE ADVENTURE!!!
Магнит
Yup.... It's the little stroke that counts mate.🤣🤣

0:03 - 0:08 Sasquatch & Other Forest Beings all around.
youmight want to think using a backbelt ..those king used in wight lifting :) good job and have funn man :)
Look like a great creek 💪
Was a good 1 for sure
Your channel is like Pioneer Pauly
Great looking spot, lovely haul of gold.at 13.17 the blue rocks have you any idea, possible safires? Cheers Craig 🍻
Not Saffires I think they are just part of the decomposing bedrock the bedrock is very blue in spots
That was a good day. Nice well worn gold too good match head sized stuff. Did I see azurite in those rocks or was that a trick of the light? That could be where that gold could be coming from ages ago. Nice spot ,but tell me do you encounter many tiger snakes?
I’m not sure mate it’s possible I do see a few tiger snakes
bugger that then.
Fading light !. But the suspense is "killing " me !!!
Did I mention I had a torch 😂😂
@@officialtassieboysprospecting I wrote you a reply on your mad-as brother video (your arm in traction). Have a read when you have time. Paul

Awesome video, got yourself a new subscriber 👍
Cheers 🥂
Nice set up
So maybe $250 for the day, not bad for the effort, minus fuel etc.
I suspect you might get 10% of that in southwest WA streams.
I’m gonna have to give this a go, just to find out & satisfy my curiosity.
Ian it’s a great way to find gold and test how rich an area can be go get in to it 👍🏼
Tassie Boys Prospecting Easy said, I’m 60, so my days of diving and wading creeks are long behind me. Both my lads dive, I’ll conscript one of them.
Back 25 odd years ago when I was guiding fly fishing tours on our rivers & creeks, I used to “pan gravels” in the creeks with my bare hands while clients fished, & would find fine flour gold sign between my 2 palms just about every time, but never found any little pickers like you do.
Historically there was gold found in Donnybrook - on the Blackwood river, so we know the source is there.
There’s now a big commercial open cut gold mine at Boddington of course.
The gold is there, it stands to reason it has to be in the creeks & rivers.
Back then I never had any gold pans even, so never really searched it as I should have.
But I did find every rock bar on bedrock that crossed every creek & river because the oxygenated water holds all the trout - so it was my job to know all the spots.
We never had google earth back then, but I worked for Forestry as a Forester & Wildlife Officer, so my office wall was plastered with 1:50,000 scale contour maps of my entire district, so I used to note anywhere contour lines converged on the scale maps indicating steep cliffs, ravines etc on a water course, then go check them out for fish.
Of course these same spots will be where gold accumulated over the eons.
Moral of the story, live your dreams while your young & fit enough for your body to cope with the rigours, it’s a bastard getting old let me tell you.
That last spot had a lot of mineralization in the rock
Super rich minerals there
Do you ever send assay samples out ? That’s an excellent source spot there !
Occasionally yes but haven’t from this spot
Tassie Boys Prospecting
It’s worth a look on that spot
Great job 😁👌👏👏👏
