I own both watches, but my Highlife is not an open heart. They are similar, but there's a significant difference to me in refinement and craftsmanship. The FC is more refined and punches much higher than its $2K msrp. I like the PRX and feel it's a great watch for the price, but there's a reason the FC is $2k. I feel FC Highlife is on par with refinement with my Rolex and Omegas. The bracelet and case are amazing. My opinion on watches I own. Both watches in the video are great and good value, it all depends on how much you value luxury watches cause even $600 for a watch could be considered luxury it's a watch and a lot of people now days use their phone for telling the time. Both are great choices for the money, it's not like you're buying a TAG or Hublot where the price tag and what you get don't make sense. Good video, and it's great you demonstrate both watches to be considered
I bought the PRX last week, the young man behind the counter in the jewellers shop congratulated me on my choice....he was wearing one as well! I can't see any evidence of an anti reflective coating though as you stated in your video?
Congratulations on the purchase, it's a lovely watch. Did you buy the quartz or automatic? As per the Tissot website this is what it says "Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with antireflective coating"
Great video! I was looking for another watch around the PRX price, just to check my options before I locked in. At joma shop, they have the fc highlife with the white dial and leather strap for 1k usd. If it wasn't so well-priced I would have gone for the prx
FC for me. It is much more expensive but you’re getting what you pay for. The Tissot looks VERY rough and clunky in terms of design and finish when compared to the FC
The Highlife is not 4 times the price. Its less than 3 times the price. Buying from their own website the prx cost €695 amd the Highlife cost €1800. So to be fair it's nowhere near, almost 4 times the price. You also get so so much more for that, the only thing the prx has going for it is the 80hr power reserve, which is nice. I really dout understand why watches are still produced with only 38hr power reserve. Even 50hrs is acceptable because it gets it over that magical 2 day period most people seem to put a watch down for. For some odd reason I always notice when I put down my watch with a 42hr reserve almost always when I go to pick it back up again its stopped within 5-6hrs of me putting it back on, which is super annoying. It seems a 2 day plus power reserve is the golden number.
And why prx? 1: 695€ and FC almost 2.000€. 2: If you want to spend 2.000, better go for longines. 3: after sales value. How many money you will loose of the watch price. My opinion is, either go for a cheap and affordable choice like prx, or go for an expensive choice like a Rolex at least to not drop your money.
@@malayneum depends which Tudor, the bb58 and GMT holds their price pretty well. Rolex is almost impossible to get unless you spend a bunch of money on jewelry. Most watches will lose a lot of value, except for the one's that are almost impossible to get unless you're rich

The finishing on the PRX is remarkable, the best I've seen on a sub $2000 watch
FC, I cross-shopped these models and for me the FC Highlife was worth 2.5x price of the PRX.
Love the PRX! Great video.
Cheers 👍
Buy what you enjoy. 9 out of 10 people can not differentiate between VC and FC etc.
The Tissot is a no nonsense watch.
Great video
Are they both is totally different brand name level????
Fc brand is considered much luxury than Tissot. Same as longines or tag Heuer
i have a 6.5 inch wrist, which do you think will wear better?
Probably the Frederique Constant having said that Tissot is releasing a 35mm version of the PRX so maybe worth looking at that when it's out
@@BasicallyWatches interesting that the FC is the pick given the effective lug to lug. The first link slopes down more?
the Tissot 35 millimeter Quartz is already out and probably wil fit your wrist perfectly in my opinion!
The Tissot also has quick release spring bars and Butterfly clasp!
The Tissot powermatic is Lazer regulated, you might have a hard time finding a local Jeweler who will service it!
Why? Tissot uses some plastic components in their movement. That makes it cheaper
I somehow prefer the Tissot here..not a fan of open heart Watches
the fc comes also without open heart

Purchasing the FC myself from an AD...I got €700 off. Honestly a fantastic pickup for the money.

Comparing tissot vs frederique constant is weird enough not to watch
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day 🙂
None of them 😐😐
