1. Spray bottle. 2. Fill halfway with bleach. 3. Fill halfway with water. 4. Spray chair. 5. Hose down & rinse. 6. Light cigar and relax. 7. Tell wife it took an hour. In reality it was 5 minutes. 8. The End.

Hot soapy water with vinegar would do the same, to make yellowed plastics white again you need to use hydrogen peroxide and sunlight.

"This is a fairly easy way to breed new life........." Actually breeding will create new life, but in this case "breathe new life" would work better in the sentence. I have two similar lawn chairs that a neighbor had put out as a "freebie." What I just learned as I was hosing them off, is that they were actually white chair painted green (not green chairs as I had thought) and as I was wiping off the water, my white rag became green, which tells me that if I had sat in these chairs, my cloths would have been ruined. Any suggestions on removing paint from plastic lawn chairs?
