Am I the only one who sees how cute it is that hook is there for the conversation. it's like he's part of the family discussion now. and her parents think that she would listen to him. they all know and understand that he wants the best for her, and can help her through difficult times
1. I loved jealous Killian, and the way Emma comforted and reassured him. That was ridiculously cute, but it actually was more than cute. Emma opened up to Killian even more than she had before. She told him about a difficult time in her past--about her friendship with Lily and her friendship with August. (It also, in a more meta sense, served to alert the fans that there will be no ridiculous love triangle with August. He's just a friend). Also, side note, it was nice of Maleficent to put Emma to sleep on Killian's chest. I suppose the writers can now officially tell people that they had Killian and Emma sleep together, lol! 2. I love how Killian supports Emma when she learns the truth about what her parents did (and the fact that they lied to her about it. He knows exactly what to say to her, what to do and what not to do. It's so sad to see how much pain she's in. She reacted like a wounded animal, pulling away from everyone, even Killian who was just trying to give her comfort. He gets it. When she pulls her hand back from him, he backs off. When she gets up and storms from the apartment, he doesn't try to stop or follow her. He KNOWS her. He knows what she needs more than anything in that situation is time to be alone; time to process everything. It shows yet again just how good he is for her. 3. I like that Snowing sent Killian to tell Emma about August. They understand just how important Killian is to her...and that he is what she needed at the moment. That hug was also beautiful. At the beginning of the episode, Emma hugged Killian to reassure him and comfort him. Here at the end, she hugs him and holds on to him for dear life because she needs his comfort. We CSers really are spoiled! In 4x15 we got "Don't you know Emma; it's you." and an amazingly beautiful kiss, and in 4x16 we got two emotional, beautiful hugs.
Caroline Mikealson pretty sure it was just a sarcastic joke-- the fact stands that it was probably a specific thing from the showrunners (or Jen and Colin doing their thing which is even better).
"Why would I be jealous? Though, I *do* know you're partial to men in leather jackets." Oh, that cracked me up so much! I suggest you take a look at your own wardrobe Killian :p
OK... Killian is sexy as hell when he's jealous... lol I loved how Emma reassured Killian about August. She took out the time to open up about her past and what her friendship with August means to her. She was so gentle with him. Snowing finally did the right thing by telling Emma the truth. She deserved to hear the truth from her parents because they were the ones who decided that she would be better off not knowing what they did to ensure she grew up to be a good person. I'm glad they were the ones who told her. Wow... Emma was pissed and rightfully so because her parents lied to her and hurt an innocent child just to ensure her goodness. I honestly thought this moment might push her over the edge. I was glad that Emma was strong enough to resist temptation. Great episode
YASSSS! Emma's Neva jealous. In Camelot there should be a Swan Lake and like Charming saw the girl in the laks and then she turned into Snow, the girl would turn into Emma...
I'm not sure that there was a direct lie, other than the "camping trip" they told her that they were going on (when they went to get Mal's ashes), but since the Queens of Darkness came to town, Emma has sensed that things were off. Her parents kept telling her that things were fine, that they didn't know why the QOD would be after them. Snow got Regina to reinforce that there were no secrets.

I am so gratefull that they get time to be a normal couple in all that bloody chaos around them, even when its short ... jealous Killian is sweet :-)
What Emma won't realize for another two seasons is just how important August was to her. He is a big part of her being Emma SWAN.

More like a lie of omission. They held back a lot of really important information regarding what they did to Maleficent.
