Great Video Steve! Thats totally insane value for £1K especially with battery costs like you mention. I paid more than that for just my 72V/21Ah battery. Fair play to quad warehouse!

That looks like a bloody brilliant piece of kit mate. Also shitloads more silent than my petrol and diesel quads... I think making it road legal would be a great thing to do to it.

Question for you mate, have you had any luck putting 1500w motors on bikes with fairly shallow dropouts, obviously it will have a torque arm.. can't file them down because of design.

60v isn't bad but how powerful is the motor, that's the most important part and if it's a geared or direct drive motor too.... An electric quad that acts like a gas quad would need to be 96v - 120v on a 5kw motor or more but this looks like a cool starter quad.

wonder if its controller is intelligent that at any power level itll change the ratio so it has more torque for climbing and reduces RPM, not sure if its a geared motor either

suppose the handbrake works in the way the electric cut off is also activated, good idea ,dont wanna be accidentally running oneself over

Never heard of someone worrying about a Quad bike bottoming out… you must be new to quad bikes.. you underestimate it.
Looks awesome, what sort of range do you get I know it depends on rider weight and riding style but an average range would be good cheers

It's definitely fun to ride. My first question will be how did you take it to that park? Did you drive it there? Is it ok to drive on the Motorways? As I was think to commute for work. Does it required road worthy licence or approval from DVLa?
Probably not motorways since it goes 40 mph not 70, but for streets and stuff probably 🤷♂️

There not that good mate great for a kid but if you change the controller on them then your talking otherwise 28mph to 30 if your lucky

@tecnikturbo hi there the quad is well built and for the money good fun. You won't hit 40mph with anyone on it though. Max speeds are reported to be about 30 mph.

Yes 60v lead acid. 5 x 12v 4Ah batteries I think....waiting for delivery atm...
Mmmm actually if they are 5 x 12v batteries wired in series then the batteries must be 20Ah and not 4Ah
